Your new girlfriend (Live with) wants you to stop playing video games.
I’d rather find another girlfriend than stay with one who wants me to give up one of my favorite hobbies. If I were spending ridiculous amounts of hours on games, then her asking me to cut back a bit would be reasonable.
We talking permanently or just cut down the hours?
From the looks of it, Permanently. She also doesn't like marvel movies but more serious romantic movies.
She clearly has control issues then.
Yeah, cutting down to a reasonable amount of time is one thing. Quitting? She needs to get a grip. I don't even play video games but this could mean anything a man likes to do with his time. Watching sports, playing sports, collecting comics, baseball cards, fishing, whatever.

Yea. I don't like it.
I won't willingly live with someone who would take away my hobbies (since I am sure video games will be just the starting point) unless I have to. Much less start a romantic relationship with thatperson. So neither, I would never even start dating that girl.
I don't play much video games, so honestly would not care, but I don't like the idea of my girlfriend controlling what I do for enjoyment.

you can do better. You deserve better.
plus, she's a new girlfriend! it's not like you guys have a lot of history, maybe she has control issues or wants to assert her dominance over you in the relationship

If it were ME, I'd tell her I'm willing to compromise and play the games less, or at times when she wasn't home, or on a schedule, but it's not right to ask you to give up something you enjoy, but "I'm sorry, I'm not going to do that."
Sets a bad precedent for the relationship, and frankly is unfair to you, is not cool, and she's not the kind of woman I'D want to be with.
I rarely play video games, but i would not be willing to give up one of my favorite hobbies just because someone i am dating asked me to.
There's always another girl.

I would like to see her try.
Seriously though:

If she has a nice ass then I'll give up video games till we dump each other then go straight back into playing video games.
I would have shown her the door right there and then. No one is taking those away from me ?. Even if I hardly have enough time in my life for them anymore.
Calmly look her in the eyes, gently grab her hand, smile and whisper "it's none of your fucking business what I do in my free time."
I don't think a scenario would ever surface in which the only other option for not giving up the hobby of playing video games at my girlfriend's word would be to dump her. I'd probably explain to her why I can't stop playing video games, and probably she would understand why I won't give it up, and leave me alone about it.
If the scenario should arise, however, in which my girlfriend is absolutely demanding me to give up playing video games or otherwise the relationship between us will be vanquished by her, then I would probably question her reasons as to why she would place such a demand first. If I find her reasons are completely selfish then I would probably ignore her, and keep playing video games even if it meant the eventual disparity of our relationship. Not that I would ever date such a girl in the first place.
Bleh
I'm not gonna stop playing video games, so she either gets used to it, or I show her door.
Keep in mind I've never been in a relationship EVER.
I'm seeing a girl. Kind of.
I don't think she would want me to just stop but she would certainly let me know if she was not in the mood to watch me play.
She isn't shy.
