Would you rather live in an amusement park or a zoo?

Zoo for darn sure.

The amusement park would be more fun in the short term, but the zoo would be better in the long run.

Im sure the Animals would disagree about living in a zoo.

No one should pick "Zoo"

No one should even support zoos for that matter.

The same rides and shows would get tiresome after a while. Seeing my favorite animals would never get old.

If there was some sort of world food crisis i vould live for a month on just one elephant drumstick.

If I consumed all our furry friends, man to animal

If I could wok fry the animals, torch the animals

Grunt and squeak and squawk esting animals

If I consumeed the quadrupeds

Think what fun we'd have asking over crocodiles for tea

Or maybe lunch with two or three lions, walruses and sea lions

What a lovely place the world would be

If I sauteed clam with orangutans

The advantages why any fool on earth could plainly see

Discussing Recipes and dramas, tha srt of cooking llamas

That's a big step forward you'll agree

I'd learn to snack on antelope and turtle

And my Pekingese would be extremely good

If I were asked to barbecue hippopotamus

I'd say, "Why notamus" and I would

If I put parsley with pachyderms

So I could eat all of them on site

If friends said, "Can he taste a crab or maybe pelican?"

Amusement Park. Zoos can be dangerous if u attended; a lion or gorilla could escape and kill you, that is, if no one else lives there to tend to the animals.

Amusement park, Zoo you could end up as dinner.

Would get bored of the same rides after a while. With the zoo I could study animal behavior and variance.

Depends on the quality of the zoo and amusement park. Mostly I'd pick zoo if it has a variety of animals.

so lets say I put you in a cage or a place with a barrier of some kind. You're well fed and bathed and you have all the conditions of a normal home, except its in a cage and everyone comes to look at you doing your everyday activities. Tell me you like that now

If we had the same intellect and behavior as wild animals and put in cages for entertainment do you think we would actually be able to look into the bigger picture or something? Think for a moment.

If animals go insane in zoo's it's most likely because they were treated like shit. I'm not saying putting animals in cages can't be criticized, but the fact is the zookeepers have to treat these animals with care in order for them to get used to their own home.

never said it was a crime. I only said that keeping something living in a cage or watch it do it day to day activities for our amusement is wrong morally

Maybe we're more intelligent. That doesn't change a single thing. Animals have emotions like us. Seperating them from their parents for nothing is just wrong

@killbilly I never said I approve of pets. And the difference is that pets are taken out for a walk(at least dogs are) and aren't used for amusements. They're kept as pets because people actually care for them(mostly) and are not showed off

Most zoos provide more than adequate facilities to allow the animals to exercise. Most zookeepers care about the animals they take care of a great deal. I don't think animals seem to mind being "shown off."

Not when they have secluded areas where they can go if they start to get annoyed by people anyways.

the keyword is in bold. You don't know if they're bothered or not. Most of them are seperated from parents and from their home and brought into a cage. And as I said what would you feel if you were shown off even tho well cared for and having your private space? animals can feel emotions bro

Puppies are separated from their mothers at birth as well. Animals aren't traumatized by such things. They have short memories and don't put as much meaning on familial bonds as humans do.

Studies show that observation from humans can have positive impacts on the animals as well.
