I watch too many Sci-Fi movies to go for this. There's no reality where this doesn't end with her spangling me too death as she stares wistfully into the distance, finally gaining her freedom.

There could be ethical concerns with something like this, depending on the sentience level of the clone. Creating actual human beings with pre-selected traits and personalities could be abused as a form of slavery. If the clone is not sentient though, and only simulates human behavior, than sure, why not?

Lmao she/he might be the perfect ideal partner you desired and designed, but what makes you think you will be the perfect ideal partner she/he desires? Sooner or later it will still end up with someone getting dumped anyway, and so the pitfall of dating continues.
