Exactly. If I become a dumb bimbo then I would've lost my intellect and without my intellect I will not be able to enjoy the world around me. Everyone typing on here is able to communicate their feelings and thoughts about the world around them because of their intelligence level, if we have our intelligence decreased then we will not be able to have an intelligent enough perception of the world around us and life would not be meaningful anymore.
