would u rather be able 2 breath underwater or in outer space?
@amendment50: what if NASA wants 2 put u in space bc dey know u can breath there
@seastone98: I'm pretty sure you would still need a space suit for other reasons to go into space.
@amendment50: yeah true but u wont be as clumsy since there's no tank weighing u down
Underwater. I'm literally never going to be in a position where being able to breath in space would be even remotely useful to me.
Get back to me in the next century or two when commercial space travel and planetary colonization becomes common.
Well you cant move in space and even if you could breathe you'd die because it's so cold.... so without being like superman you couldn't move in space and the pressure would also kill you
On second thought, breathing in space even in a setting where space travel is commonplace would be useless because the radiation, pressure, and temperature would still kill us if we were exposed, unless we had developed new bodies capable of withstanding said elements by then.
Since there's nothing to breath in space I'll take breathing in space as meaning not needing to breath at all
I'll go with that.
Why the hell would I ever go to space?
You need to absorb the sun's revitalizing rays if you hope to stand a chance against General Zod.
Breathing in space wouldn't really help against the crippling cold, heat, and cancerous UV rays, so water by default.
Lol, was just about to say this.
This is a no brainer; underwater stomps.
How in the ___ am I getting in space for it to be useful to my everyday life?
I wouldn't really want either. Breathing in space will have no value in my lifetime and the depths of the ocean scare the crap out me even if I could survive the pressure.
Maybe I would just breathe underwater so I could become the greatest Olympic swimmer of all time.
You're not just gonna be instantly fine if you can breathe in space. If you get anywhere near a source of heat your body mummifies and if you get too cold then your body freezes.
"After about 10 seconds or so, your skin and the tissue underneath will begin to swell as the water in your body starts to vaporise in the absence of atmospheric pressure."
I'd rather breathe underwater
As if you're gonna go to space for any reason, and I wouldn't want to become an astronaut either, food are terrible, pooping and peeing are inconvenient, no internet or TV for many months. No human contact and you spend most of your time sleeping.
I would rather breath underwater.
