Would Punisher endorse Kira(Death Note) or hunt him down ?

Simple question

From what I understand regarding Frank, nah. Kira ideals in harming anyone that even sneezes his direction, innocent or not, would surely rub Frank the wrong way.

He'd probably die if he tried to oppose him.

Kira wasn't limited to actual murderers. He would kill anybody who got in his way, innocent or not.

punisher would go after him if he knew half of the people kira wrote in the deathnote.

If L did not exist in this world then Kira is just an urban legend.

Punisher would go after Light, but the outcome really depends on who has knowledge and how much, as well as the exact scenario here.

Like, if the Punisher is suddenly dropped into the DNverse without any knowledge of it, and the Punisher (the character and person) in turn is entirely unknown to anyone in DN, then maybe he'll win. Unless Frank gives away his name at some point during his stay in the DNverse, in which case it could be learned by Light, meaning he's dead. And Punisher would still have to learn just who Kira is, where he is located, and how he kills his victims, and I don't think he'd be able to figure it out before he dies (either by Light's Death Note via him learning Frank's name from a slip-up or something, or somehow by Light's manipulation of other things and people), so Punisher might lose.

But still, regardless of who would win, Punisher would try to hunt down Light.

I don't think he will hunt kira down - he can see they have the same mentality, and he's not going to realize kira kills innocents (?) at times, unlike himself.

Even so, this really is an interesting thread. @midnight_dragon: if it's not a problem, could you also add a few more things to OP? Like.. would kira hunt down the punisher if he knew existed (granted the answer would likely be yes) and

2) if these two have a conversation, how would it go? (perhaps conditions like kira calls frank without either knowing each others true identity?)

i think kira would probably try to control Frank without his death note, try to get Frank to kill people to ease tension off himself.

Punisher would go after Kira. Kira made himself out to be a bad guy ever since he accidentally killed "L" (the guy on death row) on TV.

Like already stated above, Kira killed anybody who got in his way, innocent or not.

That being said, logically Punisher would have been one of the first names on his list. He'd posed too much of a threat.

Kira is a good example of a Knight Templar character - See TV Tropes for explanation of what a Knight Templar is.
