Worst Movie You Saw in Theaters?

All 3 lotr movies

I kid but I really did want to leave after about 2 hours or so for all 3. Especially the final 30 min of RotK.

The Peanuts Movie? I rarely go to the movies and I think its the only movie I've never fully sat through. Went with some family friends to this dollar movie and all of us were bored with it and they usually get off on these kinds of movies too. We left only a third into the movie. Movie at a normal theater? Probably Get Smart, I don't even remember why I went to see it it was like one of 2 movies I saw that year in theaters.

Definitely the Last Airbender and the first Percy Jackson movie.

If anyone says any of the Star Wars prequels were worse than that...

Well I won't do anything but still.

Recently- I have been so picky about what I see in the theater lately that I can't remember seeing anything bad. I mean technically I saw Suicide Squad in the theater but my wife and I hadn't had a date alone in four months so there wasn't much "seeing" of the movie.

Ever- Mortal Kombat: Annihilation

The first Highlander was amazing.Sad the second one was such a clunker.

Batman Vs Superman, I was so bored until Wonder Woman entered the last fight.

I don't think I've ever actually gone to the cinemas for a bad film.

So many to choose from.. Attack on Titan was the worst in recent memory.

Some of the movies listed aren't really all that bad. I'm not saying they're good either, it's just in the rich 100 plus year history of film there have been worse movies made. Anyway, the one I remember from my youth is Metalstorm The Destruction of Jared Syn. It was a bad Mad Max sci-fi rip-off presented in 3D. Not the 3D we have today, but the crappy 3D of thirty-five years ago. The only movie I can remember being worse (or more disappointing to my child mind) is MegaForce, but I didn't get to see that on the big screen. I had to wait for VHS.

I would be remiss if I didn't also mention 1991's Nothing But Trouble. A waste of a halfway decent cast and just such a horrible movie-going experience. I was squirming in my seat to leave during parts of the film.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion etc. etc. but damn, some of choices listed make me envy you people if that's as bad as it got for you...

As for me I've seen a lot of crap but one movie managed to piss me off more than any other...

The only movie that made me actually ask for a refund.

...And it was from my favourite director.

The only time I've ever walked out of the cinema.

I don't know why, but I almost never want to sit through Underworld movies or anything similar.

X-Men 3 is probably up there for me. Seeing Cyclops and Charles killed was pretty gut wrenching.

Oh God I just remembered I had to see Knock Knock with my friends. That's a definite winner.

Have you watched Blood Wars? Suprisingly good film.

Not very character driven though to be honest.

Both 50 Shades movies.

I had ulterior motives though. It put my GF in the mood. Totally would do it again too.

The most recent Underworld? No. It's because I've been let down by the others, I didn't have much expectation with it.

The Last Airbender

The ghostbusters reboot

• G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra..
• A truly unbearable experience...The only saving grace was the fights scenes between Storm Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes..Which lasted a total of like 2-4 minutes over the course of a 2 hour movie.
• And i generally dont see bad movies or rather movies that i,m sure i wont enjoy..But i was out with the family and it was the only thing playing at midnight..Plus since my aunt was a manger at the theater it was free, so no real harm done.
• Also Taken 3(Which was paid for) gets an Honorable mention..Because that movie was straight unwatchable garbage.

House of 1000 Corpses.

Transcendence.

Probably Jack and Jill, the Adam Sandler flick where he plays a set of twins. I was literally the only one in the theater and I walked about halfway through the movie.

This steaming pile of crap. ^^

Walked out after maybe 20 min.

Tried to watch it again years later, still a worthless POS.

Worst: Jupiter Ascending
