She also gets full custody of their kid, AFTER being convicted of hiring a hit man to kill her husband. I feel bad for the kid.

Well she wasn't convicted in a court of law and plead to a lesser crime so it makes sense that she wouldn't get the death penalty or a harsh prison term. I'm not saying its right or wrong, but legally speaking you have to convict her of the crime to get those kind of sentences you guys want.

However she's clearly unfit to be a parent. Her custody should have been revoked, but it may have been a stipulation of her plea deal.
