WIll Smith as Blue Genie in Aladdin

What do you guys think of his real genie look?

I don't know...his head seems too big for his face. It seems off; not quite right.

Most likely. Maybe not in theaters, but definitely when it hits Blu-Ray.

@supermanthor: As a whole, I've enjoyed these live action Disney re-imaginings. I loved The Jungle Book and Alice in Wonderland, and thought Beauty and The Beast was good. The only one that's genuinely let me down is Maleficent. Thus, I think I'll probably enjoy Aladdin.

I like Will Smith. But I just can't really stomach any other genie being any other than the great Robin Williams, plus seeing a less cartoony, more real person genie seems to be another thing I just don't enjoy as much.

He doesn't look bad but honnestly I doubt very strongly that he'll even come close to Robin Williams' performance.

Worst chunk of horse arse chips I've ever smelt. It stunk so bad that all the skunks in America have become unemployed.

I've gotta say, the one character I really have a hard time with is Jafar. He sounds so weak. But then again, we only saw him in one brief clip, so maybe I should reserve judgement.

It's not even bad cgi, Superman's mouth is bad cgi. This looks like Will Smith's face painted in blue, and therein lies the problem. It's like they didn't even try. It feels lazy. Doesn't help that everybody else looks bored.

I thought he'd be more chubby and slightly muscular in a slightly unrealistic way. It's probably trying to make it look realistic, imo.

The thing is, I saw a random thumbnail for it on YouTube and I was like "wtaf is this", even if I love Smith's work, so now I can't really take that sht seriously.

Too much Ugliness

Meh, I'm not excited. I loved the movie as a kid, but honestly nothing about this looks new or well-done. The Jungle Book did a great job of bringing in fresh original content and Beauty in the Beast did a great job of capturing the magic of the original. This one looks like it tried to straddle both approaches and failed completely.

The best Disney trailer so far is Dumbo. Aladdin is the worst.

Beauty and the Beast was hot garbage as well, the only thing it captured was people's rage

First YouTube Rewind, now this... Will Smith must have the lowest like-to-dislike ratio in Hollywood.

I really didn't think it was that bad, but everyone is welcome to their opinion. One other thing it captured was people's money, it's the 14th highest grossing film of all-time. Someone must have liked it.
