I drink due to insomnia & suicidal depression. I don't like being drunk but I hate being sober & awake for 150+ hours.

I don't, it dehydrates you, interfere's with muscular recovery, slows down your processes and is a waste of money to me. Not to mention I party hard on the irregular occasion I'm free to go out to a club and show people how to wine properly, and I have an abundance of self-esteem to not need a substance to be social.

I don't drink because I take seizure meds. If I drink my meds stop working and I have a seizure.

1. It still dehydrates you which you've just admitted, why reduce something when I can forego the effects at all
2. So it's a waste of money to me since there is no benefit what so ever to my life in drinking alcohol, I don't need it to relax, I don't need it to be sociable

Sure...fun for people who need a substance to have a good time. My OP enthusiasm is only surpassed by my confidence so alcohol isn't needed in my life which I'm grateful for because as a student I need to keep that P, to put things into perspective: people have thought I was on Molly because of my personality. The only time I taste alcohol is when I'm serving cocktails.
