But for a more reasonable answe is that animals eat meat too and there are omnivors as we are so why not, and why should I force myself to eat plant and such when I can eat anything (edible).

Before the war, Japanese people ate mostly rice and veggies. They're growth is due to a larger variety and quantity of food.
The same is not true of China. Hong Kong consumes more beef than anyone, yet they're shorter than the Japanese on average.
Protein and iron in larger quantities than what a diet of fish a plants give you, things also found in milk. Seriously though, are you claiming diet has no influence on how someone develops?
No, larger quantities of food just makes you fat, not tall. Eating properly and in the right amounts and you should reach your proper size.
The average male height in Hong Kong is 175cm in Japan it's 173cm and China its 160cm (source). Also Hong Kong haven't been eating beef any longer than anyone else in the Far East, and having been a British colony doesn't change that for the most part since there was no beef that could last the journey and be available for the common folk till very recently.
When lab grown meat becomes as cheap and as healthy as normal meat, around 30% of population will drastically reduce or stop eating normal meat. This will cause the lab meat industries to grow, and continue to improve their product. Over the course of a decade or 2, lab grown meat will become cheaper and healthier than normal meat, and around 60% of population will be consuming it regularly. At that point people will vote for the politicians who will promise to reform the natural meat industry, forcing farmers to give more humane treatment to their animals. Every cow will have to have free time to walk on the planes and eat grass, every chicken will have to have at least 2m of space for itself, and so on. Normal meat industry will also stop receiving government funded subsidies, and all of these things will vastly increase the price of normal meat, while at the same time lab meat will continue to drop in price and rise in quality. This means that over time even more people will switch to consuming the lab meat, and normal meat eaters will become socially stigmatized as barbarians. Over time, maybe around the year 2050, the percentage of people who consume lab grown meat, will become larger than 90%, and normal meat eaters will be viewed as psychopaths by general population. At that point normal meat will become illegal, very expensive and only available on a black market.
@the_batmobile: By restrictive I mean there's so much you're not allowed to eat. It takes extreme control and diligence, which is something I do not have for when it comes to meat.
I have no problem killing or slaughting animals to eat meat...animals that're carnivores would eat us if they were hungry enough. We're animals too in a lot of ways so let's all have beef, fish, pork, chicken and turkey for dinner
So long as the farm animals are treated humanely in life, I see no ethical qualms about eating meat, drinking milk, or any other animal products. It's just nature.
There is only one sentient species on Earth and it is humans. And it is hilarious how this vegan preacher is at the same time claiming that amimals are sentient (they are not) and that he detest animals. Considering that humans are exectly sentient form of animals it seems that in truth vegan is detesting himself (perhaps for some deffect of his organism that forced him to became vegan or because of some irrational guilt?) and just projecting this on other people.

I was once. You feel more energetic and light when you eat a vegan diet. it is difficult as hell to stay on top of ingredients and gets to feel like more trouble than its worth. Society does not want you to be vegan and took away organic food to boot.
