Why are youtube comments so stupid?

A lot of comments are so stupid and weird. People just saying "OMG, This is so stupid." "People are gay for watching this" Most of these people are most likely trolls. But I do say that I do get a bit rustled

They are:

• Trolls
• Cyber-bullies
• Trying to get attention
• Haters
• Ignorant

Youtube is just packed with Ignorant, Self Absorbed, and Uneducated people who often tend to have no lives at all, therefore most of the users on Youtube they enjoy taking it out on people who do.

Don't waste your time in the comment section unless you know the comment section is safe.

And that's why uploaders on YouTube tend to disable comments.

And well, it's youtube. Half of them must be trolling anyways.

But the advantage of YT: Any idiots on the network? You can block 'em and be done with it.

Those who actually want to say and write smart comments publish them as blog posts (after thinking about them for a long time). That are commented. Often idiotically.

Also, because there`s trolls, and people have been thought to fight back against there kind. But there`s no need for that.

There`s those who get real sad, when someone who gets a kick outta saying BS to them, throws their words at them. Because any Youtuber could have a low self esteem, and majority feels empathy for them, the trolls are fought back. Defending the weak.

"If we fight back the cyberbullies will smarten up and quit". No they wont. They wanna fight.

More effective and wiser is to not answer them anything, and tell about them. "This guy should probably be banned." Alotta women bloggers who get all the sexist crap on their faces from those rogues...alota them are used to it. It`s awful when they`re in the point where they are, `cause it means they`ve seen too many of those comments.

But I see it as a more wonderful thing. They have good self-esteem. Most are pissed `cause they get all the hate mail, but they deal with it by brushing it aside.

They have been mocked in the past, and as they`ve grown, they`ve become stronger.

But not everyone does. It`s the most horrible thing*, when ones great self-image is ravaged offa its hinges. By, say, internet trolls.

Do you know anybody over the age of 30 that uses youtube on a frequent basis. I think not.

Everyone's tough behind a keyboard, including me. Just learn to ignore the posts that are clearly created for the jimmy rustling. There's really nothing else you can do and attention is what feeds them. Keep them as small as you can by pretending they aren't there at all.

The easiest way to get up-votes is to say something racist, sexist, anti-Islamic, homophobic or something else ignorant.

People like he instant gratification of an up-vote so, instead of finding something creative to write, they go with the easy way out.

It's what happens when no one moderates a popular site. You get children and keyboard warriors saying anything they want.

As for the the OP answer. The answer is the same as to why I get Psn messages like these on a daily, it is because as Lola said everyone is tough behind a keyboard. You think people would say this to me or you in person? I'm pretty sure they wouldn't. Saying that to someone online and saying that to a person face tend to end very differently.
