It's fun and can be addictive, but I got bored with it. Some of my friends still play it though.

Yes

I'm kinda curious, but I'm in no hurry. Especially right now, since I don't have a lot of time to devote to serious gaming; that's why Minecraft and Civilization appeal to me right now - I can stop at any time after making a little bit of progress.

Funny you mention Civilization, I still play Civ 2.XD

It's one of the most beautiful games out there. Free roaming plus endless hours.

But I was quickly bored with it. If it was the first Elder Scrolls that I've played then maybe I would have enjoyed more. But the fact is, it kinda felt like the old games, just in a new place with better graphics. The feel it had was very similar to the older games (Morrowind in particular) made by Bethesda.

Skyrim is my favroute game ever it's even beter than mass efect 3 and I've played mass efect 1 and 2 and 3 and i've never played and elder scrolls game but after my second dy playing skyrim I instantly preferred it to all 3 games combined.
