Who makes better video games: DC or Marvel

What did DC do?Besides Batman and Gods Among Us.Marvel has the better games, Wolverine origins, Deapool, Spiderman, Ultimate Alliance.

I'm in for DC. Batman Arkham Asylum and City are excellent games, pure fun. also Injustice: Gods Among Us is really really good, a lot better than Marvel VS Capcom, imho. Plus DCUO is pretty good, and Mortal Kombat VS DC was hours of fun (although it isn't that good altogether).

Lego series, DC universe online

Lets be honest the majority of games made for both companies hasn't been that good, some of the games you've listed aren't considered good games. DC simply has a few games people who know nothing about comics will refer to years from now.

I voted DC even though i'm more of a Marvel fan.

@dextersinister: Batman is good and Gods among Us, i rather play a new Spiderman game or Wolverine game than a new online game or lego batman.

I don't think Marvel has any game that's better than the two Batman Arkhams. And Injustice is pure fun, a really really great game.

@the_red_viper: Rocksteady a very good developer, can't wait for Arkham Origins too bad is not Rocksteady but we will see.

Not knocking your preferences but we should look at these games from the perspective of someone who knows nothing about these characters and will not be bias.

You may not like those particular types of games and I am not a fan of mmo's but they where well received by people who are.

It looks really good in the gameplay trailers. Also, Death-motherf*cking-stroke is there!

But we'll see in October I guess.

I personally think DC makes better games but Marvel makes better movies

this isn't even a question dc is owning marvel in everything ecpt puting out more live action, movies.that last deapool game sucked injustice outsold call of duty black ops 2, both arkham games got game of the year, even lego batman got best action game.before you marvel fanboys say im wrong warner bros/dc is making lego marvel superheroes nuff said.

DC makes the games, Marvel makes the movies.

EDIT: Actually, a lot of the Marvel Movies sucked. DC's DK series was flawless, Man of Steel was a pile of sh*t, and so was Green Lantern. Marvel's first Spiderman trilogy was ass, and even though the reboot was decent, all the other Marvel movie's were ass with the exception of The Avengers which would have sucked if it didn't have the amazing animations.

I'm basing this comparison on recent stuff. Marvel heroes vs infinite crisis or DCUO. Marvel loses to both.

Lol, I totally agree with you, there are much better videogames than just within the superhero medium of videogames. The only game I could say are good are the Batman games.

Superhero games are much like movie games, they usually suck, apparently, dc has not only come up with a superhero game that doesnt suck, a game that is considered 2011s best game, yep, arkham city, arkham asylum was also quite good, keep in mind the up coming arkham game as well, basically, there is no way to compare marvel to dc in terms of gaming, dc just plain outrules them, not only because of arkham though, keep in mind injustice, and lego dc series as well, marvel on the other hand, really hasnt been so impressive on any of their games, so far, their best bet is deadpool which is just mediocore, 6/10, bad graphics, boring gameplay, but nice jokes...... Dc alao had some of their share of bad games like gl and all, but the arkham series and injustice are enough to decide who makes better games,....

Wow, you guys really think DC makes bettter games, have any of you played any of the Spider-Man games, they can stand up to batmans aa and Ximena legends, it's not even close imo, not trying to be byast just being honest, DC doesn't have a lot of video games in the last 15 years anyway, marvels games have been much better

DC is JUST starting to make good games. Arkham and Injustice doesn't make up for all the screw ups they had leading up to them. Marvel on the other hand has put out many decent over the years. Marvel gets my vote.

An oversimplification but as of late I'd say basically true.

Marvel has a lot of good games but none that really stand out... DC has a lot of stinkers and a few really great ones.

I prefer the DC games I've played, although I have missed quite a few good Marvel picks.

Marvel aside from the Arkham series DC doesn't have many good games where as a lot of Marvel ones are pretty good. DC will automatically get more votes because of the Arkham series popularity not because they have a good track record.

DC is starting to put out more good/ great games. But Marvel has been doing that for many years. And as a person who loves to destroy things, i know i'm gonna get hate for this, but i liked Hulks destruction game a lot more than any of the arkham games. But that's more about personal preference, because tbh, the Arkham games have the best game mechanics of any Superhero game, and there was so much to do and so many ways to do it. Hulks ultimate destruction had great gameplay, but it was really just a beat em up in the perfect coexistence with Hulk, and once you were done with the story, the side missions weren't really all that interesting. Marvel ultimate alliance was just a superhero beat em up, that really didn't interest me too much, but i loved a lot of the Spiderman games and Marvel vs Capcom 2 (and almost all of Marvels fighting games) are great arcade games that, if i wasn't broke, i would probably spend all my quarters on. And i really can't consider DC lego games as DC games, as much as they are, well, lego games. Lego kinda just does everything, so Marvel wins it for me. Plus Marvel vs Capcom 2>>>>> Injustice Gods among us.

guys can you stop saying dc made only one famous game omg. they made lots more. marvel made lots but who cares it doesn't matter how many games they got it matters how good there games are. marvel haven't even moved onto the amazing graphical games the only good grafic game marvel have made is deadpool the graphics were ok. but the arkham game graphics were like cod ghosts much better graphics. injustice also had good graphics i even thought they made a flash movie with a picture of flash. just because maven make more ain't make em better. there new game lego marvel ain't even better than lego batman dc superheroes. plus marvel have only had one game advertised lot's and that is lego marvel. dc had ark origins, injustice gods and lego batman 2. and i am sure more have been advertised.

in fact dc made more games on 2013. marvel only made one. dc made injustice and ark origins. marvel have only made one famous game and thats lego marvel. dc have made more. marvel fans face it dc have better games.

look it up in the top ten worst superhero video games babes and can i just say cat woman was not firkin dc. ok that is some company who decided to make a rip off of cat woman and who cares about the rubbish games they do little impact good. they actually make dc more popular so they do help. each game does. just because dc made bad games does not ruin them. it's not like they loose money for people hating them. leave superman 64 out of this. include the success dc have made ok.
