Em, Jay Z and Kendrick.
Who is the greatest rapper of all time?
Biggie, Tupac, Jay-Z, Nas, and Eminem are basically the faces of old school rap. Not saying they are necessary the most skilled (what would make the most skilled reaper, anyway?) but they are the “greatest” rappers.
Yung Cash Register AKA Lil Broomstick
2pac
Eminem, followed closely by Tupac and Biggie.
Greatest based on what? I mean, I'm personally not a Jay-Z fan, but a very strong argument can be made for him being the GOAT. His combination of skill, lyricism, songwriting/hitmaking, longevity, sustained relevance, commercial and critical success, accolades, respect amongst his peers, etc. sets him apart from almost everyone else. Very few will ever have a chance at matching, let alone exceeding his placement in hip hop. However, if we're talking purely on rapping ability, he's not even top 10 for me.
Eminem for me. Mostly because I grew up with his music so the songs are very nostalgic to me and that's hard to beat. Also, you cannot deny his technical & lyrical ability.
Honorable mentions: Nas, Method Man, Ghostface, Biggie Smalls, GZA, MF Doom
Nas or dare I say Kendrick who is a slowly becoming a younger version of Nas
I know this is old but nah lol. K Dot will never reach Nas status. Kendrick was hyped for a couple of years but It seems like that hype has faded.
2Pac and Biggie because they revolutionized the industry, Big Pun and Kool G because of their multi styles also I like their flow more. Lil Pump, Tekashi Nine Nine (I guess that is his b*tch ass name) and the rest of those freaks are not rappers, let alone MCs, however. God Bless 🙏🙏🙏
@hyperion_x: Flo Rida is an party rocker (for sure) but half of his views are on the hotties that appears on his clips. Lol
Really, you can't say that Tupac, Notorious BIG, Eminem, Jay Z and Nas are wrong answers. They are arguably the biggest names from a time where every relevant rapper would have mopped the floor with 95% of modern rap, and they got their status through actual skill, not just trends.
Much props to the brother who mentioned Eric, KRino is so underrated it hurts, he has insane freestyling ability, I'mma give him that.

The goat Playboi Carti was born on the same day Tupac died he's probably a reincarnation. Though Carti is way better tbh. After WLR I'm definitely convinced he's truly a reincarnation of him.
eminem,without a doubt

Greatest is not the same of your favorite. So let me get that out of the way.
I think by metrics of a combination of Staying power, Lyrical Abilitiy, Influence, Sales and Money Made I would go with Hova.
However- I think they are so many people can be mentioned in the Goat List by those metrics such as Biggie, Pac, Em, Kayne, Wayne, Drizzy, K.Dot to name but a few.
