Who is the better singer: Beyonce or Adele?

Adele. Beyonce is a decent singer, but she gets by a lot on visual style and performance. Adele has the pipes.

Would people pay the same money they do now if Beyonce had a concert where she sat on a stool in a simple outfit and sang her music? No chance.

Think about that.

As a singer? Beyoncé, no question. She has undoubtedly better range, vocal agility, technique, control and vibrato, versatility, and her breath control is ridiculous, especially considering her performances require so much dancing.

Of course, I love em both.

@beast_mode999: Still inspired by her relationship, and "All Night" is about them reuniting and all that. The Beyoncé album is all about their relationship and their child plus it became the fastest selling album on iTunes until Adele's 25 but with absolutely no promo or notice.

Lol, that's my long way of saying saying she's not losing anything, Lemonade was her sixth number 1 album.

Overall, I do prefer Adele over Beyoncé, but, as far as I'm concerned, the latter has a wider range and better technique.

Beyonce is a better performer; Adele is unquestionably a better singer.

Honestly not going to lie this is barley an opinion question. There are actual ways to tell if someone is a better singer than another just like you can tell someone is a better piano, trumpet, or Saxophone player

Range- Beyoncé because she can reach higher and lower octaves than Adele... well from what I have heard

Control- I've heard Beyoncé go boarderline Suprano to almost blowing my eardrums out... yes I went to a concert but only because I had to Chaperone my sister and her friends.

Power- I will give it to Adele she has more emotion and power ad great tone. She really fills up the room... but she is not that far ahead of Beyoncé

Technique.

- Quite frankly I don't think Adele will last long in the Music industry if she keeps trying to hit a third octave register. Her voice really isn't built for that. Excessive can only get you so far. Beyoncé has a very solid voice and she has a lot of power while in lower octaves and can easily hit higher octaves...but her vabrato and control when she reaches the higher octaves can shrill at times.

Now you can prefer Adele over Beyoncé or her songs over Beyoncé, but you really can't say she's better than Beyoncé because technically she's not.

I don't know how to qualify singing, so I'll just say I like Beyonce more. Adele is pretty boring to me.

This is better singer right? As in vocally? Because I don't see how Adele is winning right now. Honestly, Beyonce probably takes this on range alone. I don't know if people are listening to 7/11, Formation, Sorry, etc. and somehow ignoring what she's actually capable of, but whatever.

Exactly. The only thing Adele may have over Beyoncé is tone, but overall Beyoncé is miles ahead as a singer.

I doubt if this is pure vocally, so I'm not sure why everyone is stuck on that. Well, that's unless the OP says otherwise which I've yet to see.

I agree, Beyonce stomps. People need to listen to her old songs then their opinions might change.

I like Adele, but if you know music and singing you can't seriously think that she is a better singer than Beyoncé. Beyoncé had one of the best vocal technique but people don't know her, they just saw her as the one from "single ladies" and "run the world". I feel they have the same range but I prefer Beyonce’s voice by a hair.

Both I feel are massively overrated tbh, but in this list, I think Adele actually has legit made quite a number of great songs, so I will go with her.

I really have no preference between these two. They're both amazing vocalists.

Both are bad singers. So, neither.

Adele is a more talented vocalist in my opinion.
