Um...were you alive back in the 1990's? While it's true Mickey Mouse is more iconic now, for a short period of time especially back in the 90's, Winnie the Pooh merchandise was being a lot more than Mickey Mouse stuff because he was being pushed a lot more as their official mascot than the mouse. It also helped Winnie the Pooh had a hugely popular Saturday morning cartoon than ran on TV reruns for many years and had many popular animated films at the time like Pooh's Grand Adventure: The Search for Christopher Robin and The Tigger Movie.

Let's not forget the Winnie the Pooh characters are just as iconic if not more so than the Mickey Mouse characters.
