Mumble rap is really popular right now and is what mainly gets played on the radio (Hip-Hop stations). So it kinda makes sense that people who don't know rap think all rap is trash because all they hear is the trash rap. But it's a lot of dope rappers out, they either get massively underrated or get ignored because they aren't turnt or being a savage though.

I know that's so true most people don't listen to the lyrics just wanna get turnt up. But then you have people like Kendric, J Cole, Logic, Joey Basa$$ etc who are on their grind rn putting out amazing music with a message to it. Though Kendricks album has been really popular smaller artists like Logic and Joey tend to get a bit ignored because they aren't like radio/club music
