Conan is hands down the best. He isn't an A hole like Maher, Kimmel or Oliver, and he has better interviewing skills than Fallon and Colbert.
Plus, he's not afraid to be the butt of jokes and his visits to other cities and countries are the stuff of legend.
I don't watch these type of shows like I used to but I do catch Conan every once in a while and he's my favorite. Conan has always seemed the most genuine and least fake. He's a funny guy and he isn't pushing an agenda unlike most of the others. His show is actually about his guests and comedic. My favorite skit of his is the Clueless Gamer. I used to like Stephen Colbert back when he was on Comedy Central, but not anymore. I'd watch the Colbert Report all the time. It doesn't seem like he fits as a host without playing that character he did. I also watched Craig Ferguson waaaayyy back. And then I watched Kimmel a lot and I thought he was funny too.
Guys like Jimmy Fallon yell fake, others like Wilmore aren't funny at all, and Oliver is so annoying. Just to point out a few of their unbearable flaws.
I really like Trevor Noah but I preferred his stand up if I'm honest. He seems like a really genuine person and he's still new to the scene so he has time to develop and improve.
Bill Maher is the only other one I watch regularly, he's funny but he can take things too far when he thinks he's right and the guest is an idiot.
He is,,,, a BAFTA award winning writer (TV show). A Tony award winning stage actor. He sings, Dances, Act's (movies & TV), Writes and Hosts (Tony awards and is due to host the Grammy's ect,,). And has won numerous other awards.
Late late show.
Won Two Emmys.
Created a cultural phenom with Carpool karaoke. The Adele Carpool has almost 140 million hits alone.
And is closing in on Two Billion youtube hits.
All in only 18 months.
(Yes I am bordering on fanboyism).
Conan is the best one. The others have more flaws.
Conan - Sometimes carries on jokes too much, but he easily has the best personality and is still pretty funny. He's pretty fun as well.
Bill Maher - Sometimes his politics makes sense and his jokes can be funny too. However, he gets carried away sometimes.
Seth Meyers - Not very funny, but super nice and respectful. He's similar to Fallon, but not as stupid from time to time.
Jimmy Fallon - Not very fun, but respectful. He laughs way too hard sometimes, and say's dumb things too.
Jimmy Kimmel - Used to be funny, but maybe something changed. He's gotten way too political, every bit is about making fun of Trump, and he can be genuinely rude sometimes even when he's just trying to joke around.
David Letterman - Just not very fun nowadays.
James Corden - Has some incredible segments, but he's only funny here and there.
John Oliver - John actually makes some nice and smart jokes, but his politics are just not very worthy of its own show. Sometimes he's right, but other times he digs into a realm where you should really represent both sides instead of just one.
Oh yeah almost forgot about Trevor Noah. He's probably one of the worst for me. That being said all of these men are still remarkably more entertaining than the absolute worst, Lily Singh.
My list is updated.
