Tigers are the most alpha of the big cats, ants however possess super strength like no other species and are more collective, they are the most organised creatures who work in super coordinated armies and take down much larger insects together, ants literally establish colonies and fight together against other ant colonies.

Tigers. They work alone, which is a classic trait of any badass. They're stealthy, which also badass. Plus they're killing machines. Ants are cool though.

I like the size strength ratio of ants.

I can't believe how useless humans are compared to nearly all animals. I don't get it.

Which of these animals will eat and hunt absolutely anything they can and would not hesitate to charge at a creature hundreds of times their own size?

Which of the two has proven time and time again to be ridiculously hard to get rid of and have instead flourished and dominated almost every corner of the earth?

Ants for the win.

Once upon a time humans were contending with even bigger badder beasts then we have now, humans are the reason those monsters don't exist anymore but we just got soft over time.

If you step on ant, it dies. If you step on a tiger, you die.

Could you imagine if ants where the size of tigers, one colony would be unstoppable in nature.

Tough choice but I've gotta give it to Ants here, some of them basically live to wage war on other ants.

Tiger.

Yeah....talk about the size of the colony, strength proportional to their size, and evolutionary success all you want... doesn't change the fact that a tiger can maul you to death and but an assault from an ant colony can be avoided simply by a light jog. You'd have to be truly handicapped to die to an ant.

The strongest man in the world pound for pound is only 130 pounds. Not to write off his accomplishments or anything but your average 190 pound male who visits the gym somewhat frequently is already gonna be stronger. I wouldnt be afraid meeting this guy. Compare that to somebody like Thor Bjornsson and I'm not screwing around with him.

I get why there are votes for ants considering their ability relative to their size, but... they're still ants.

Going with tigers.

Ants are the supermen of insects, and work together in a amazing collective where everyone helps each other out to do amazing feats of strength and creativity, and fight off physically superior foes with numbers and clever tricks

Tigers are terrible, are only known for being "alpha" despite that term being used officially for wolfs only in captivity, are rubbish fathers and usually abandon their children young, and are usually pretty incompetent in doing anything

The strongest bug is still a bug.

Tiger is a big cat.

Let's see a colony of ants hunt a large mammal with legs, then we talk.

@professorrespect: I'll show you a tiger that can lift 10,000x the weight of an ant. Show me an ant that can lift 5 pounds.

@alavanka: In proportion to the weight and size, you show me a tiger lift 100 times its own weight bud, I asked first so the burden of proof is on you

Oh wait, it can't cuz it's useless, so you have to state the obvious like no one knows it to make your low tier "alpha" look impressive lol

@professorrespect: Being strong in proportional to your body weight doesn't mean anything when you're a tiny bug and every mammal species bigger than a chihuahua can crush you.

I'm not interested in doing mental gymnastics. Not being able to lift 5 lbs makes you weak. Ants are weak. Simple.

@alavanka: Bruh, you concede that tigers are weak betas who can't lift, now you are like "but they small tho!!!" so what, they do more with their weight and situation than a beta tiger does

Does that make a elephant better than a tiger cuz they are bigger and stronger than them, and can crush their butt just by sitting on them?

Does that make any large dinosaur better than a human cuz they are bigger than them?

Your logic is wack. Beta tigers have to hide in the grass and sneak attack animals cuz they 2 slow to actually catch them in a fight, while ants fight things that can squish them head on cuz they ain't scared of a damn pig with horns...... lol

@professorrespect:

Tigers can lift more than ants, and that's a fact. Nobody cares about proportionality.

Absolutely. Elephants are stronger than tigers. There are examples of elephants running tigers off.

Yes... A large dinosaur is stronger than a human.

Ants kill other bugs, and maybe small mammals. Tigers have been known to hunt bears.
