Which is hotter? A hot girl who knows she's hot & flaunts it or a hot girl that doesn't realize she's hot & is timid & shy?
Male or female, I've never found it attractive when people think they're all that. Kind of a turn off if anything, tends to come with a certain amount of vanity and/or arrogance that just rubs me the wrong way. Also in my experience people who know they're cute often try to use it. I guess that works on some folk, but I just find it irritating.
The better question is, which one is easier.
That is a good question. the hot one who knows it may be hard to get & just likes to tease & the timid shy one may be easy to flatter & seduce.
If you target the tease, best of luck to you.
If you target the timid one just for a fling your a sleazy piece of shit.
@laflux: So glad I found this response on accident lol.
I was going to directly tag you but thought it would be more rewarding if you found it for yourself XD
The second type doesn't actually exist
They're out there, they're just rare & hard to find.
If they look the same, they are equally hot.
Superficially sure but is that all you really care about? Hotness at least IMO transcends mere aesthetics.

Yeah and I'm the pope

The current Pope or are you speaking to me from beyond the grave? Meh either way I don't acknowledge The Pope as an authority figure & I don't believe a word you say.
EDIT: Please don't quote on this anyone & try to drag me into a religious debate. I'm not Catholic, that is all.
Typically the one who doesn't know she's hot, but sometimes, just SOMEtimes there's something about that hot, sexy woman who has that attitude that makes you want to take her down a peg and make her think you're more impressive than her and she wants to be with you. It's not easy, but it's doable. I only ever did it once, but it was...interesting, even though she was bat shit crazy.
I guess one who flaunts it is a little better.. But the ideal for me would be someone who knows it and just acts with confidence, not only in her looks, but as a person in general.
More often than not, confidence and how one carries herself greatly influences perceived attractiveness.
Exchange girl and she for boy and he and you've basicially got a god_spawn vs Deranged Midget Thread in disguise :P
Whatever y'all are talking about sounds like a hilarious read. Where can I find it?
It depends on how she (or he) keeps herself normally. If she's a hot girl (or guy) who doesn't know it and dresses in a manner that hides their hotness, then you'll never know that they're hot to begin with. Frumpy, oversized clothes, unkempt hair, no makeup (or scraggly facial hair) doesn't do anything to accentuate their hotness. So, a girl who takes even a small amount of pride in her hotness is better than one who is oblivious to their own hotness. Furthermore, girls (or guys) who are timid about their own hotness are equally as problematic as girls who don't know they're hot, because they purposely hide their hotness. That's just wrong. The world needs more hot girls (or guys) being hot. The images below are of some girl who dated a member of One Direction. They serve to illustrate my point, and are not an endorsement of OD's music. Personally, I couldn't care either way about them. Also, I want to reiterate "hotness" and "hot" one more time.

You may be misunderstanding a bit; the key words are timid and shy (e.g. and I'm suggesting a woman who might have been an abuse victim in her past either), not unkempt; that means that she cares about her appearance but she's just shy and timid around people; I met one librarian who was that way a few years ago, but, usually, this only happens when women are in school and college; adult women usually grow out of it pretty shortly after leaving the school setting; so, it would than immediately come to character; and that's probably way on the other end of the spectrum like maybe a boss lady or that sort. But, there's another category women and that would be forward women who know what they want; they're not obsessed with their looks and don't think that they're too good, they're just forward; I like those types of women too.

Me and One Direction must have more in common than I thought because I'd still screw the girl on the left.
Hot and clueless. They're rare, but they're basically the perfect woman.

I think you're conflating hotness with sexiness
So pride vs humility? When does pride win?

Is hotness really a defined term?
@major_hellstorm: I think it only counts as humility if: A. She knew she was attractive and B. She actively chooses not to emphasize her features. The way I understand it, the shy and timid part is more a description of her general nature rather than a developed attitude.
@gunmetalgrey: Well then it it pride vs non-pride. Still an easy choice.

Yes. Jennifer Lopez is hot, but Denise Richards is sexy.

I asked that rhetorically. I meant no it's not a defined term, even in the "Urban Dictionary" hotness & sexiness are the same thing, it's a relative term.

Sexyness is purely looks, hotness can be more than just looks.

Sexiness is anything that gets someone sexually aroused it doesn't have to be aesthetic or superficial.
@oopsislipped: not how I see it, but whatever.

Hey man, that's your prerogative.
Hot and clueless.
