Where Did the Geists Come From?

Before my 4 month break from CV, I knew of one Giest (Jokergiest), now they are like an actual affiliation. Any clarification on the outbreak?

No one knows where the Geists come from.

A dark mockery of users,

in the darkest places they thrive,

growing as a plague of locusts to kingdom come.

They once sought to cover the Vine

In darkness with their numbers

It was not worth their try

For the mods crushed them to Embers

Now six remain behind

From the hordes that were vanquished

But now they thread more carefully

For they walk on thin lines.

A guy made a username with geist at the end of it.

This is so much funnier then what I was gonna say.

In all seriousness though, I hypothesize that it was a running gag based off of Jokergeist when he was temporarily banned from the site. Pokergeist and Yokergeist popped up, and then people accused them of being alts, so here comes not_a_geist and Hookergeist and people suggest other Geist names and Deathstrokergeist is born.

One guy goy banned, made a bunch of alts a lot of stupid threads about it then everybody (besides me) started making alts with their original username with geist at the end.

They came from the darkest corners of their parents basements. That's where all trolls come from

I first coined the name "Deathstrokergeist." I am ashamed.

Coronal Tigh (white beard) pretty much sums them up.
