What's your Dream Job?
- I have the name for it
- I have the voice for it
- I have the personality for it
- I have the piercings, gauges, tats for it
Then it was a game designer
- I have the imagination for it
Now its a Director, Writer
- I have the ability to dream up entire worlds in a matter of seconds and often do just that, but never think to write them down.
- I have the nact to watch things whether they are movies, games, music videos or what have you and break them down, criticize them, think of what they could have removed or added to make a certain part no matter how small, better.
- I am a perfectionist, which is a problem too, because my nact of being a perfectionist often keeps me from getting things done.
I want to work for a charity. Maybe with the homeless or some such.
I want to get out of goin' to work simply to earn money to pay the bills and really achieve some thing.
If I could get paid for taking photo's that'd be cool too.
Male escort maybe.
I started school with the intent of one day becoming an inker- but man, have I fallen in love with coloring. Although, I would just be happy working with Grant Morrison on any project. And I mean any project- comics aren't necessary. If he needs help re-tiling his bathroom I'll be there.
Working at a comic shop with people I can talk about comics with since I have no one to outside of the vine, or working at a video game shop or working at a skate shop. If I got one of these jobs i'd be happy.
CERN / NASA.
I wanted to be an astronaut as a kid -- I've changed my mind since then, I have more interest in the science of sending people in space than actually going. Working on the Large Hadron Collider would also be awesome.
"honestly I'd rather sit on my couch, watch tv and read comics while having mounds of money in my bedroom...but that's just me haha "
The true american dream LOL
I like to try one more job before I pack it in, but I can't for my life figure out what. I've already had more careers than three or four people.
Earn billions just for singing. Well, that's my second dream job.
My first dream job is use my powers to earn a living. If I'll be a mutant with reality manipulation, i think i won't need to work at all cos i can create money whenever want to. I could see and know the viners here and i might even create a better website than comicvine. hehehe.",) I'll definitely create a Storm website.",)
" @geraldthesloth said:honestly it could if I ran the shop and got a good amount of buisness, all that matters is that I'm happy with what I'm doing and that it's making other people feel the same way." Can one make enough money to live through just said jobs though? I guess it depends. "
Working at ComicVine
Writing comics FULL TIME (no more of this part time comic writing nonsense)
I'm halfway there.
"Voice actor for cartoons, video games or either...preferably Cartoons though...I've made a couple of projects that are on youtube, turned out awesome with a friend who does editing, dubbing etc
"
Unfortunately since it's show buiz job, you need a connection besides talent...
You can do voices??? That's awesome!!!
One of the guys who works at the comic book store is great at that. The voice that he does most often? Stan Lee, of course. :)

You TOO, danny? I guess I'm not as surprised about you doing voices as I was about Pete, but then I've been chatting with you for quite awhile now and know how talented you are.
It used to be to work at a store that sells video games like gamestop but after working there....I don't know.
Doesn't anybody here want to be a doctor? A Captain of Industry? A (shudder) politician?
None of these dream jobs have a whole lot of power associated with them.

Yep lol, I can do many hehehehe....I'll send you links to the projects I've done as well as my own voice videos showing off the many I can do ;) I'm a very silly guy once you get to know me more lol
@Edamame, yeah well it's not that easy but it's easier compared to on screen actors...you still need training, classes are prefered(but if you're THAT talented, not necessary) you just need an agent to see you and put in the good word for you...I've been told for example at former jobs by independant actors, singers etc to find an agent lol but that's easier said then done..I also should audition(which I've yet to do)
But obviously it's a fun job, but you still need the talent and skill to do so. If you can do different voices, that's always a plus though ;)
My dream job when I was younger would have been filming movies and writing them but I gave up on that because I realized there was no way I would be able to break into that industry lol. My dream job is actually pretty low shot now. Owning a pet store that specializes in reptiles or a higher position job at a zoo. I would really love to merge my former dream and my current dream where I film documentaries about all kinds of animals and if I eventually get a video camera I might do that since one of my sisters can afford to visit many places and I would go with her and film the animals in the wild. That would be my real dream job.
Ooohhhh hard.... but I have a list xP
- Video game tester
- Comic book shop/ arcade owner! (Yes a arcade and comic shop in one)
- A professional Ninja
- Professional Video Gamer
" @MKF30: I forgot my question. LOL.
@Feral Nova said:" Ooohhhh hard.... but I have a list xPI like the first option. I am not sure about the fourth option though. "

That fouth option is terrifying.
Waterboarding may not break me, but force me to make a living playing video games and I'll tell you anything you want to hear.
