So what's your best and worst experience with a Canadian in real life?
What's your best and worst experience with a Canadian?
Meeting you (:
Oh you.
I'll E.N.D you. Get it? E.N.D?
The only Canadian I ever knew was my buddy back in middle school. Stand-up guy, and a killer Kick-Ball player.
I live in the southern US though, so very few canadians.
I've never met a Canadian in person
When I was a kid, I watched some kind of snow lodge documentary that took place in Canada. It left an impression on young me that all Canadians dressed up in puffy coats, pants, gloves and hats. Little me then had family host some guests from Canada, and when we went to pick them up, I was surprised at their summer wear and asked "where are your snow coats?" Then I got mercilessly teased the entire ride back with Canadian sass("yah, we live in igloos, ride mooses and eat ice fish with syrup"). That was such a long car ride.
Is it possible to have a "worst" experience with a Canadian?? o_O
Justin Beiber?

Justin Beiber?
He's the one Canadian who doesn't count. He's not our problem anymore, he's America's. He wasn't like this when we sent him.

I don't know who he is but if he's a rapper or an idiot then no we do not own him.
I used to hang with a dude who had dual citizenship. I used to go to parties at his house and he told me some crazy ass stories about when he used to smoke crack. I'd post some, but you'd think I was kidding. He got clean though, but now he's got a permanent stutter. It's the best because he was a really cool guy and the worst because he had some horrific experiences.
Canadians are gorgeous, brilliant and funny. This is what makes any experience with them both best and worst of any non Canadian's life. To want to be us, while being with us. Must be hellish.
Actually, I got a couple good ones. You Canadians are alright....most of ya ;)
The Good: I picked up a Canadian hitchhiker who was backpacking down the west coast of the US (down Hwy 101) coming from Vancouver and heading to L.A. Can't remember his name, but he was a really cool guy B.S'd all the way to Hollister, California where i dropped him off cuz i was cutting east at that point. I even let him drive a bit so i could take a brake, never gave me any kind of weird/bad vibes.
The Bad: Other side of the US now, Keene Valley, NY (Adirondack high peaks) Rock Climbing, more accurately, lead climbing with my father behind 2 guys (amateurs) from Quebec. I won't go into all the specifics with this one (it would be a lengthy paragraph) but those two idiots put their & mine/my fathers lives all at risk. To this day, I WILL NOT follow anybody that im not 110% comfortable with, let alone even climb with....
to give you an idea......This is the face. We did both sides :)
But those are just 2 instances that came to mind, I've known a number of Canadians. I lived next to the boarder for awhile (Canton, NY area)
Have several friends from Canada. One of them married a hometown girl and moved to that hometown.
Worst
Quebec people. What I don't speak french get over it.
I thought it was just me/bad luck but, i think your right. Even if you try to speak french to them, alot of them snicker regardless cause they feel we "butcher" it somehow; who knows, maybe i did lol.
To my understanding it's really just Quebec that has that many french speaking people. could be wrong though, i never been in the west coast of canada
