It wasn't laugh out funny for me but it was fun to watch and would be fun to follow as a long series had it continued. Oakley mentioned in the podcast that at the time (and possibly still to date?) there aren't any (animated) sitcoms that depict the same age bracket as the main characters of the show. It was pretty timeless as well.

If Superman wanted to train Martial Arts with someone in DC who would it be ? I mean there are only a few DC Superheroes that could really even take a weak punch or kick from Superman let alone them really sparring hard.

I guess, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, maybe Aquaman, Captain Marvel aka Shazam.

WW is probably the only one who actually has Martial Arts expertise to offer. The other ones can survive his hits, but do they actually have anything to teach him?

Superman kicking is actually a rare sight. So much so that IIRC google used to say did you mean "superman punch" if you searched "superman kick". It doesn't do it anymore though.

Training can be for Conditioning. They do not have to teach him something. Like a MMA Fighter goes to Camp for a upcoming Fight. He may not be there to Learn new stuff but Condition what he already has with other Fighters to stay Sharp.
