I think I may have outgrown Hip Hop music. The new stuff I can not really get into. I was trying to listen to Eminem's new album and was like "What is this Crap". The Rap Game has changed so much.

He was never good

The animation in the latest NNT episode was... decent I suppose? Far from great but at least the characters were in-model for the vast majority of the episode. To think that I would actually be glad with animation of that level...
Not that the manga is doing any better based on some of the comments I'm reading online. Too bad really if that's true.
Really curious to see if JC can maintain this level of quality in Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T because their more recent shows were struggling in this department.
Syd Mead passed away on the 30th. He was the main orchestrator behind all the concept designs of great sci-films like Blade Runner, Blade Runner 2049, Star Trek, Tron or Aliens. Rest in Peace.
I should probably watch broadway shows.
I wonder if they will do more Pokemon Mystery Dungeon stuff in the future.
I'm actually stoked for Pattison as Batman after The Lighthouse. He's got incredible range.
And on that note, I can't believe no one's offered William Defoe a Joker role in any capacity, he literally oozes insanity and has an all-natural grimace. Sucks that Defoe already played a part in the DCCU, he could have made an interesting Joker to Pattison's batman.
Have you seen The Rover or Good Time?

Sorry for the delayed response, I don't get notifications for some reason.
And I haven't, and I'm definitely trying to look for more movies with him in it.
I thought you just ignored it or went "ok".
He did Twilight for pay and after them/with Rover stared in bunch of interesting movies.

Nah bro :P
Also, I'm definitely into his film choices since Twilight. I plan on circling my way to him as I cross things off my list - I'm finishing up old Noir Films for now.
Btw, have you been reading The Goon recently?
Every day before Better Call Saul's release is absolute agony.
I'm planning to watch his Good Time and The Lost City of Z soon. Old noir films from the 30s-60s? What have you watched?
I haven't in a few years but I know the main series ended, then it had a mini? and now there's a new ongoing.

Not the first time I've heard a Shounen Jump author be into kids.
The Toriko author really takes up after his mentor, huh?
Has it really been 17 years since the whole thing with the SARS virus? Man, it feels like it happened just yesterday. Bug still, it has almost turned into an annual thing. Almost every year there is this dangerous virus, usually from Asia, that could potentially turn into a pandemic but nothing never happens. Not that this is a bad thing of course.
Feel like watching a movie after I'm done with the weekly anime. But what though? Maybe Ad Astra? Or something else instead?
Hmmm, should probably have finished Eden Of The East years ago. Great reviews and everything.
Opening came from Oasis as well. Good taste.
Psylocke really had the worst costume in Apocalypse. And not just when compared to the rest of the Horsemen but in general.
Still haven't watched Dark Phoenix. Don't know if I ever will tbh. Doubt it will be as bad but still... Can always check the OST though. It was done by Zimmer. It's bound to be good, right?
@god_spawn: Not saying that it will be a misunderstood masterpiece or anything. It is just that in cases like this, people like to overreact or just go with the flow.
I do watch it, yeah. I like it but they eventually need to explain more about the setting.
@magian: I think the hate was warranted for this one. It’s definitely worse than the original X 3 and I’d say even worse than Origins, considering what and who you had to work with.
Would have liked to see Singer's take on it. Each time they did it, someone else other him, directed the movie. While Apocalypse could have been better, if he was the one directing it, we might have ended with something better.
@magian: Singer has not directed the Last Stand either.
@magian: They could have also brought back Mathew Vaughn to direct X-Men films but for some reason, he left after First Class.
@magian: I think it was a lot better than the majority of X-Men films.
My first pick would be either X2 or DoFP from the core series. And if we include the Wolverine ones, then maybe Logan as well.
While I do think that they made a lot mistakes with the reboot/not reboot movies, I have to admit that one thing they did get right was the castings. For the most part anyway.
Fassbender's best performance was probably First Class whereas McAvoy's is Days of Future Past because their roles are a lot more dynamic in their respective films.
