Right now I'm just discovering a guy who calls himself Buck 65. He's great. Its what Tom Waits would sound like if he were into hip hop.
What kind fo music does everyone listen to?
Wow, I tired to post a list of stuff I own but the font was to big. There is a list on my myspace.

I am in to a lot, right now I am liking Voltaire and Tool and Ben Folds.
Whatever sounds good, really. Right now I'm big into Ringside, and I've been busting out a lot of my old White Zombie stuff. Also, I've developed a taste for country music lately, but not a whole lot of the new pop-y stuff. I like Gary Allen a lot, and Garth Brooks has made a lot of classic music.
Indie Rock for the most most part. Here are some of my heavy rotation plays of late:
Regina Specktor
Ester Drang
Barcelona
British Sea Power
Band of Horses
Black Box Recorder
Decemberists
Gary Numan
The National
When LAMP is in the office it's mostly old classics so lots of...
Meat Loaf
Prince
Journey
Styx
Bruce Springsteen
Rod Stewart (only the 70s stuff)
I listen to everything from Barroque to Norwegian Death Metal. Passing through world folkloric music, classic rock, jazz, blues, etc. Maybe tilting a bit torwards Acid and Contemporary Jazz, Power and Symphonic Metal and early romanticism academic music... mmm, lately, however, I've been listening to a lot of Irish drinking songs.
I do avoid listening to bubblegum pop and certain subgenres of electronica, though.

Led Zeppelin. The kings of rock and roll. Robert Plant is the only guy who's hair is as good as LAMP's. I'm into classic rock. Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Who, Black Sabbath, Van Halen(damn Sammy Hagar). The kings. Especially the good rockers in Zep.
So funny, I was gonna start a thread like this today but have been away from my computer. I like Foo Fighters, The Beatles, Smoking Popes, Green Day, Red Hot Chilipeppers, The Doors, Muse, Weezer, Jimi Hendrix, Motley Crue, The Good the Bad and the Queen, Barenaked Ladies, Death Cab For Cutie, Alkaline Trio, Nine Inch Nails, Rock Kills Kid, and many more.
My all time favorite music moment. Wish I was there. Love when all the peeps burst in and they start the chorus.
I like yodelling and marching bands. Anything with bagpipes.
Kidding. I generally like anything with guitars from emo stuff like Dashboard Confessional to heavier stuff like Foo Fighters. U2 are probably one of my favourites also REM, Remy Zero, the Killers, Blink 182, Green Day etc. I am occassionally mocked for liking the Polyphonic Spree (especially as I otherwise hate hippies) but darn it if there songs don't make me happy.
One of the places I used to work overlooked our local Woolworths. Most Saturdays and during the week in school holidays, a bagpiper would stand and busk outside. The only way to drown him out would be to turn the radio up to deafening (which the boss didn't appreciate). After several hours of it, over and over, you really learn to loathe it and our strict gun control laws.
Of course, anyone who has worked in a shop over Christmas gets the same joy with Christmas music. I used to work in an opticians that was joined to (but technically seperate from) a chemist. December is completely dead in an opticians but insanely busy for the chemist. So for the entire month, we all stood around bored (we couldn't relax because customers were coming through) with the same cd over and over.
Ooh I love these threads. Anything rock really. I also like electronic (a la Le Tigre and Peaches) and also gotten into jazz recently.
This is a good summary of what I listen to but not entirely: http://www.last.fm/user/Wengistein/
Blood Sugar Sex Magik is awesome. The new Stadium Arcadium was okay, I liked it. They were only bad when Dave Navarro took over on guitar. Don't get me wrong, Dave Navarro rocks. But he's Jane's Addiction. He didn't fit with the Peppers.
I saw Red Hot Chilipeppers last August. It was quite the show. They'll be on the Grammys tonight doing Snow (Hey Oh). I'll probably dvr it and fast forward through aaaaaaall the boring parts and performances. Pretty cool that the Police will be playing.
I like the Police, mostly Sting. Message in a Bottle is my fave, I was hyped that it was on Guitar Hero II.
It's weird, I really liked the Police but thought Sting's music was okay. I actually couldn't stand Free Free, Set Them Free. Maybe it was the video. I don't know. He's a cool guy, though.
Ooo I got last.fm account also!

"When I was a wee boy the Chili Peppers were an ultra cool funk band, now they sing lullabies. I would sell my eyes for a new Chili Peppers album on par with Blood Sugar Sex Magic or Uplift Mofo Party Plan."
Yeah, but changes happen... some people haven't taken happily to that, but they can't play funk/punk forever.

Do you respect your punk elders? Sex Pistols, Ramones, and the Clash made punk what is. If you haven't heard that, then you haven't heard the best punk around and what got it started in the first place.
EVIL music!!! I mean, uh, evil cheesy music. Just about any "hair band" from the 80s (Poison, Ratt, Twisted Sister, Warrant, Winger). Few of my favs are Iron Maiden, Queensryche and lately the newest Europe album (yes they're still together and sound better than ever).
I also go all over the place such as: Pink Floyd, Journey, Matthew Sweet, Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, Black Crows, Ben Fold Five, Survivor, Jill Sobule, XTC, Styx, Blink 182, etc.)
Rancid
88 Fingers Louie
Screeching Weasel
Me First & The Gimme Gimmes
The Ramones
The Misfits
Janis Joplin
Rolling Stones
The Beatles
Prince
Flogging Molly
Weezer
Johnny Cash
Foo Fighters
James Brown
Earth Wind & Fire
Elvis
Wu Tang
The Roots
Tribe Called Quest
Ghostface Killah
That sums up the big ones
