Option 3 because it's the most reasonable. Option 4 is stretching the limit a bit too far. Sex before marriage should not be encouraged due to all the pregnancies that could run around in the future, and don't give me that birth control excuse. They are not 100% reliable, or the excuse that involves people running around mindlessly and getting woman pregnant. Condoms break way too easily and should never be fully trusted.

@hereforoneshot: I would never encourage it. It can be quite damaging in some ways. Trust me on that. I'd never say be proud of it either.

I do believe though that people should have the right to decide for themselves. As for being socially acceptable, if people actually kept their private lives private it wouldn't matter.

Could it be that one's life is kept private is because of his/her actions being socially unacceptable? As in, people support certain actions being legal, but when society frowns on an action, one can only keep it a secret.

Option 3. If you’re going to commit to a lifetime with somebody, you better make sure there is sexual chemistry. Otherwise you will definitely cheat on your spouse.

Sex is a very important part of a relationship definitely something you want to find out if your compatible with someone before you marry them

But, of course, many people live by option 3, even though they're aware that option 2 is traditional. It's always been widely considered immoral, only recently is it accepted and encouraged, in large part due to Hollywood normalizing it. It should not be illegal, of course, but it undoubtedly should be discouraged, as is lying, cussing, bullying, gossiping, etc.

It's a lot more complicated than just "sticking it in", if you're trying to satisfy a woman sexually; I can think of many ways to make things sexually compatible for a woman, besides and including; however, based on my low (lack of) experience, I'd guess that she'll have a higher libido than me, where it involves "sticking it in"; but, I can catch up really fast in a number of other ways.

@hereforoneshot: I was just making a joke about the user claiming sex is nothing more then "sticking it in a woman" is a good example of the type of sexual partner you can avoid marrying by trying before hand.

If a couple wants to have sex before marriage, it's no one else's damn business.

Nearly every couple at my church did it before marriage.

My personal experience is that it hurts that my current wife had sex with boyfriends before I came along. It gives me constant doubts about.my adequacy. I imagine that she remembers other better men and how much better it was with them. Whereas my first wife thought I was a sexual god because she didn't have any thing to compare me to.

I wish me and my current wife got married before we had sex with anyone else.

Because it's a sin and it can send you to hell. Even if your not a Bible believer the negative societal consequences of that behavior should be all proof anyone needs that it's a very bad way to live.

Option 1 reminds on the medieval and Option 2 is stupid, Option 4 is ok but weird and Option 3 makes the most sense.
