What is your favorite Star Wars era

So which Star wars era is your Favorite? Mine is Rise Of The Empire.

Rebellion era

Since most of my star wars knowledge comes from classic, i'll have to go with that.

Sith Era is waaay to vague here.

Anyway, Classic (Galactic Civil War) era is my fave tied with the era of Exar Kun all the way to the re-emergence of the True Sith. I don't know the exact era names but Great Sith War, The Great Hunt, Mandalorian Wars, Jedi Civil War, Sith Triumvirate (1st Jedi Purge?), First and Second Great Galactic Civil Wars (including the cold war).

Classic era

Between the end of episode 3 to episode 4 and the trilogy era,some parts after are good too.

Not much of a fan of the clone wars getting sick of hearing about it now to be honest.

NJO and Old Republic.

Probably the Prequels during the Clone Wars. But seeing as my favorite character's story, Galen Marek, takes place between Episode III and IV I like the Classic as well.

Classic because of Obi Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul.

Toss up between Rise of the Empire, Rebellion, New Republic, and New Jedi Order. I really have no problem with any era except Old Republic and Legacy. The Old Republic is rather lackluster in many ways, and the Legacy era....needs to die.

theres a few books out but havent seen anything about the rakata except in kotor 1 and parts of sw: tor games. and i think www.wookieepedia.com has the answers youre looking for

Old Republic definitely. Followed closely by Rise of the Empire.

The Old Repulic. Anything from Freedon Nadd to KOTFE really.

I thought the world seemed the most interesting in the prequels, but the movies were not that good.

The Old Republic era. In fact, I find pretty much all of the pre-TPM periods very interesting.

Anything from RoTE era upto ROTJ.

KotOR/TOR.

I was high on 3 vibrant pills when I bumped this thread.

Every era has good and bad, and I like all of them. The only real contenders for me are OR and RotE, though. I'll go with the latter, given that the former is mostly dominated by TOR and is clearly intended to be the era's main piece and focus. A shame, really since it is mostly garbage in terms storytelling, shits on previous continuity and pulls off some of the most retarded shit I have ever seen in a story.

While you could say the same about the prequel movies, which are the focus of the RotE era, the good thing with that is that you can largely ignore them in favor of the novelizations, which tell the exact same story but infinitely better delivered and presented. Also, whereas TOR actively shits on everything that came out before, the prequels don't, and actually fit well into the overall continuity.

• Tie between the Prequel era and Original films era...These two are by far the most balanced in terms of a perfect blend of Sci Fi and Fantasy vibe/Aesthetic.
• Every Other era is too extreme interms genere....The Old Republic feels like a high fantasy novel and the New Republic feels like Thundercats.

Prequel era. Watching "The Senate" play the galaxy like a fiddle and seeing the culmination of over 1000 years of the Sith's plans come to fruition was great.

TOR.

Legacy and Prequels. Classic is so overrated and dull. There was 10 interesting charcters in Prequels to every interesting character in classic era.

Also everyone who bitches about terrible movies. RotJ was not that good and ANH was subpar for me. Even more so with TFA that does everything ANH does yet again. Prequel films were fun to watch, and the Clone Wars comics and show are infinitely better than the current Marvel comics or Rebels garbage show.
