What is the one video game that you never get bored of playing?

It can be from any console, even Atari.

I myself cannot limit it to one game :

• San Andreas (Childhood Hero)
• God Of War 3
• Need For Speed : Most Wanted (Another Childhood hero)
• Shadow of Mordor

For me it was City of Heroes/Villians before they cancelled it

Devil May Cry 1, 3 and 4.

Out of those, probably number 1.

Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim.

Resident Evil 4. I speedrun it at least once a month.

Borderlands 2. EXPLOSIONS??!!?!

Vanquish. Best 'pop in and play' game out there.

I used to never get bored of DC Universe Online, but after they merged the PC and PS servers, and with the following updates the game has turned to ass. A lot of my former friends have also stopped playing so now I only briefly visit the game time to time. The combat system never makes you feel bored (in PvP), but everything else outside of PvP and even some aspects of PvP in the game make you feel bored and depressed.

I recently purchased a game that I used to play on my friends console that I never got bored in, namely Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Hopefully that's a game that won't make me feel bored.

Oh yeah, definitely, man. Shut Your Mouth was okay, but I loved Just Bring It so much. It's my second favorite after Here Comes the Pain. To be honest, I think that's my least favorite of the SmackDown! series.

Really? I wasn't a fan of Just Bring It. I remember I was looking forward to it because it was the first one for PS2, but with the exception of having better graphics, I thought it was inferior to Smackdown 2 in every way. Shut Your Mouth instantly became my favorite in the series when it came out the next year. Here Comes the Pain upped it again the next year and became the best in the series, but part of me still liked Shut Your Mouth more because it had a better roster imo.

I did love the stacked roster in Shut Your Mouth for sure, and the fact that you could climb everything like the SmackDown fist and whatnot, but there was just a level fun in Just Bring It that I couldn't find in Shut Your Mouth. I think it was because that was the only game IIRC that could have 8 people in the ring at the same time, which made the gameplay crazy and even more exciting.

I didn't play the SVR series as much. I kind of lost interest in both gaming and wrestling in 2004. The only games that I played from that series were SVR07 and SVR08, and I think I played them both for the first time in 2009, which was after I started to become interested in WWE again. Out of the two, SVR07 was my favorite. I liked the GM mode. In SVR08 I did like the inclusion of ECW, but it felt like it had a weak roster. I remember it had a submission style, but the only character in the game that used it was CM Punk. Erasing Chris Benoit's entire move set was also a disappointment imo. I mean, other people used those moves, too.

SVR07 was my favorite out of there SVR series too. It had a more balanced GM Mode than 2006. The ECW Roster in 2008 was a cool addition, but they could've used a little more meat to their lineup, I agree. Not surprised about the Benoit thing, but I see what you're saying though.

2009 was like the last good game, and it went downhill from there. The games are so slow, not really fun anymore, and even the crowds in that game seem quiet and inactive.
