Guys the point is based on how Superman looks what group of White people does he look like he belong to (Celtic, Norse, Greeko/Roman, etc.) That what I mean.

I know he is suppose to be a Kryptonian but he looks like a white person and you guys are suppose to answer what kind of white person.

I actually knew a gorgeous girl who had light skin, blue eyes and black hair who was Iraqi.

Supes could really be any race that can have light skin and blue eyes. I think Siegal and Shuster may have given him black hair so he could be jewish.

@rdclip: He had black hair because it was harder to give color back then, and Batman, Lois Lane etc also have black hair and are considered white.

@gungunw: Alan Scott and Steve Rogers both had blond hair during the same time.

And even if Bruce Wayne and Lois Lane are white, like I intended to mean, is that there are many people who are ethnically not considered 'white' that could pass for it.

I want to clarify that white is not an ethnicity. It is a race. Yes, there's a difference.

Race is genetic; ethnic is based on culture / social differences. Superman's probably considered generally Midwestern (and since I don't know anything about Kansas, I have no idea what that might be)

It's amazing how so many people don't know the difference between race and ethnicity.

Still, he's probably just of a Midwestern ethnicity. To know more, I guess you'd have to go into the Kent history, but I think just Midwestern American sums it up.
