What if: You find out you have another version of you in a parallel universe...

And then you find out that they won a national sharpshooting contest:

You then find out that they are part of a secret organization seeking to do battle vs some factions in on our earth:

You then find out that the other version of you might kidnap you and try and take your place:

But an organization on our world wants to draft you to do the same, but as a spy.

How do you react?

Do you say yes? Do you say no? Try to run and disappear somewhere? Are you more terrified of this to you, or are you impressed at the accolades another version of yourself actually managed to do? This is an interesting situation I was thinking about based on a really cool show, Fringe.

I'd probably go with the organization in our world. If my doppelganger was as skilled and as cold as you described, I'd want to be ready for whatever he might want to do to me.

@mrmonster: Going on the lam is a real possibility, and I wouldn't necessarily say cold. Just skilled, and trying to accomplish a mission. Still open to talking to I am sure; if you think you might be able to arrange it.

This scenario opens a lot of possibilities I think one can have fun with.

But would it really give you more much more time? At least for the average person, definitely not.

Of course I would say yes, and in the end I will betray my own government, kill my counterpart in cold blood and also take over the alternate world by disguising as my other self. If every crazy shit you found in fiction also appears in real world then I am not gonna hesitate to do what universe-conquest super villains have accomplished without looking at morality. And I would choose murder my counterpart first because I am supposed to be unique in every reality and not supposed to have be similar to anybody.

Probably top 5 of best shows during the last 10, 15 years. It had some tripiness to it, but it could have been better despite it's awesomeness. I wish they explored some things more instead of wrapping them up too quickly (like this one).

Funny thing is, I never saw a full powers unlocked Olivia vs anyone on this battle forum. Strange I think, because she has great potential.

@chad_duby: lol. A lot of people tend to use this as a reason to explore much darker versions of themselves. I honestly did not expect that.

My other version taking my place wouldn’t be a problem if I’m not already part of an important spy organization. I tell the organization what I know (so they know it’s not me doig this just in case the other still tries to join), get a moderate amount of money monthly and chill in my house until this crisis blows over. Maybe play some videogames with my counterpart if he comes to visit.

He/She doesn't necessarily want you dead, just out of the way. And if he/she is anything like you, having you dead might actually be not the preferred method of anything.
