What gives your life meaning?

For me personally, I am fulfilled with my studies and work as a (an aspiring) neuroscientist. I find learning to be thrilling, but not nearly as thrilling as sharing and receiving knowledge with others. As a hobby, games, comics, manga, and other fantasy entertainment bring great pleasure. My relationships with family are also important and keep me motivated.

What makes you carry on? What is the purpose of your life? What is the purpose of life in general? Is purpose given by a higher power or self-created by us?

To do and learn new stuff, quality time with friends and family and experience feelings like never before.

We drive ourselves.

There is no objective meaning to anything once you look back far enough. You could say that is my meaning; the hope that I'm wrong about there being none.
