My vote goes to..
What films should Hollywood never remake?
Back to the Future. There could not be any way to remake it and have it be even half as good as the original.
I will say that it would be cool to see an updated version of the Ronald Reagan joke to include Donald Trump. "Who is President in 2018." "Donald Trump." "The reality show host. Oh, and I suppose Simon Cowell is Vice President and Alex Trebek is secretary of state."
I still never want Back to the Future remade, I'm just saying that if it was, a joke like that would be hilarious.
2001: A Space Odyssey, Blade Runner, Forrest Gump, The Thing, The Matrix, Back to the Future, City of God, Amelie, The City of Lost Children, etc.

Um....The thing got remade in 2011 i think, and isnt Blade Runner 2049 kind of a remake? I know its a technically a sequel, but also feels some of the criteria of a remake. And it was pretty damn good if you ask me.
@jumpstart55: I'm pretty sure that was a prequel to the original The Thing movie. Blade Runner 2049 was definitely a sequel.

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
You get a huge thumbs up for just knowing what this movie is. =) Also, dear god, last time I saw that movie was in the 80's. No real desire to see it again, but I love that anyone ever even thought it should be made.
