Reference : I wonder if I can post links but the reference listed transformers and avangers on the list with pics.

Anyway do you think this is showing that comic/cartoon will soon "extinc" because what the market want this days is Anime and Manga [ that is the reason why peoples world wide also prefer to Cosplay Anime/Manga characters ]?

No but cartoon who's sequel turned into Anime, for example is one of the sequel of avengers which then named as avengers disk wars.

I don't mind. Anime is technically just Japanese animation. I consider Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt an anime even though it has Western animation while Avatar as not an anime even though it has anime-like animation.

Nothing wrong with it. It can make for some interesting design choices.

Well that's not really a sequel. It's a totally different series produced by a Japanese company. It exists because Marvel wanted to work with them to produce it.

And as for cartoon/comic "style" going extinct, that's not going to happen. At all.

But transformers was originally animated in Japan and inspired by Japanese toys, how is that copying?

Anyways, Japanese animation as a whole basically originated from western animation and Tezuka(who was influenced by western animation).

Other than the fact it's usually ugly, it doesn't bother me.
