Real life martial arts don't give you much, except self-discipline. Superpowers instantly make you special.

A weakness just means you aren't invincible. Most heroes could get around their weaknesses if they really wanted to like superman could show up in a superboy prime suit and never have to worry about kryptonite again

Any Superpowers except for you have a lot of weaknesses. if You have super strength. If someone uses anything yellow against you. You will loose your powers. If someone throws yellow socks. It will function like kryptonite to you.

The powers

You have to earn your Mastery Martial Arts. It requires work, discipline and real mental qualities. Superpowers are a gift that does not provide any particular quality and does not prepare you to face your weaknesses.

Is this compatible with your Omega Male status ?

Actually it's much more rewarding to achieve mastery over something with practice alone. I'd be more proud of myself if I mastered martial arts than if I attained superpowers.

I'd pick martial arts over certain types of superpowers, or pick superpowers over martial arts, depending on what the superpower is.

Superpowers, I can at least try to attain mastery of martial arts on my own even if I don't succeed. There's no way I'll be able to get superpowers normally.

Think of it as skills being inserted in the Matrix movie. Did Neo an omega male earn them? It was inserted. I asked a question which people would want either mastery of martial arts, or superpowers with weaknesses.
