about $ 45,000,000 US Dollars...
What do you consider to be a livable salary?
Well, if you earn below $25,000 then you are living under the poverty line. A livable salary all depends on if you're living alone or trying to support a family. By yourself, I would say anywhere between 30,000- 45,000 dollars. That's just my opinion.

1. Life style you like to have.
2. Family, do you have kids, wife.
3. Were you live.
4. Status of birth, type of life you were born into.
5. If you are part of a crew.
" @Undergroundgod: Well, I was asking for your opinion. So, only you can determine that. "
Yeah I know... I am saying these are things that can change the rules so to say.
" @Undergroundgod: I don't have any rules here. You can determine the rules to follow for your own answer. But, I understand what you are saying. "
Well... I will just say I am very happy with what I make every year. : )
If you're kind of smart, you can live with 12,000 €/year. (It's worth 15.000 $)
But expect no cars and a frugal life. Don't own your flat and live by location. It's harsh, but it's possible.
Hell ! Many people in Belgium live almsot like that !
It all depends on these factors:
1) Personal style of life (hobbies, dining habbits, etc)
2) Mandatory payments (bills, housing)
3) Single or providing for others.
I don't really feel comftorable saying how much I make (funny how that's such a sensitive topic for many), but I make enough to fully support myself, collect comics/video games, and always treat my gf well and pay for our vacations =)
" @k4tzm4n: Does it make a difference if you are single or married with no kids? You would probably be providing for your wife. "
I'd say so. I'm single and live with my gf, but the fact still remains we're technically single (by being not married). While we still treat each other a lot, we don't share an account and have legal obligations with funds. Married people tend to share far more expenses. My gf and I just technically share rent/cable/electric LOL.
" @k4tzm4n: I thought it was 43,000"
IRRC, $44k was the average annual household income. Doesn't that mean it's a combination of every earning in the household? Either way, I've only been out of college for 2 years now and I'm pretty pleased with what I'm making *stands proudly, cape waving in the wind*

its a long story, but no they have all passed away. no parents, no grandparents and a hand full of aunts i dont talk to
my dad was given up for adoption when he was born and was taken in by a nurse and mechanic, she eventually managed to become a doctor. when i was about 8 my dads biological family found him became friends and all was good. dads biological side parents were a home maker and a real estate agent.my moms side was a banker and another mechanic. by the time i was 17, all of my grandfathers were dead, moms mother was barely hanging on. and dads adoptive mother was in the ground (never liked her).i was the only grandchild in 2 families, my dads biological family had 3 grand kids. but in the end all my grandparents died each leaving my family an inheritance. when i was about 20 my parents died in a car crash. and i asked my friends to move in with me since the mortgage on my house was already paid off. they only pay about 400 for rent it pays all the bills and groceries and we've done pretty well so far
" @Precise said:" @Edamame: Above 23 years old? Yup. "In America, you only get paid like 8 bucks an hour working at a movie theater. LOL. Holland is lucky I guess then.

And he/she can do that. But he/she would be hard pressed to find a job like that. They have better luck as a salesman or something. There are various job for the elderly around so it's not really a big problem over here. Everyone kinda knows what kind of jobs they can take at what age :p
