What came first: The chicken or the egg?

I could see either one coming first. Ik the explanation that the egg came first because dinosaurs evolved and evolved until the egg eventually hatched into what is now a chicken, but there are explanations for the chicken too.

The egg. With amniotic eggs showing up roughly 340 million or so years ago, and the first chickens evolving at around 58 thousand years ago at the earliest, it’s a safe bet to say the egg came first.

The answer is easy if you think about it. It can only be the egg and like you sayd due to evolution. There are no plosible explaination involving the chicken first.

The protein-known as ovocledidin-17, or OC-17-acts as a catalyst to accelerate shell growth. This hard shell is necessary for the yolk and its protective fluids to be stored as the chick grows inside.
