Literally doesn't matter much.

Just eat enough protein (1 gram per pound of bodyweight.)

Eggs, Beef, Steak, Chicken, Fish, Tuna, Whey

Oats, Rice, Granola Bars, Nuts, Cereal

Whats most important is consuming enough calories for your body to be in a surplus and having a sufficient amount of protein in your system to build proper muscle mass preferably 0.8-1g per body weight So if you weigh around 180 you should be eating around 180g

Eggs cracked straight into a glass and drunk raw first thing in the morning, followed by a training montage.

Haven't movies taught you anything?

SuperHulk hit the nail on the head. Eat enough calories and get sufficient protein, about 1 gram per pound of lean mass. .08 at the least, some people go up to 2 grams. But I think .08-1.25 grams is a solid ballpark.

As far as food itself goes, calorie dense foods, proteins and the foods you can eat a lot of are your best bets. Beans. Peanut butter. Meats. Fish. Olive/coconut/MCT oil. Rice. Oatmeal. Potatoes. Avocados. Eggs. Quinoa. Pastas. Ice cream. Cheese. Butter. Cereals. Whole milk.

You want to make sure you also get your veggies and some fruit in there to round things off and make a balanced diet and fill in any micronutrient gaps you may have missed. That’s essentially your vitamins and minerals.

You want a simple formula to figure your calories, take your body weight and times it by 18-20. And a simple way to fill your plate is fill half of it with your carbs. Fill remaining half with about 25-30% protein and the other remaining space with some type of vegetable.

I'm skinny so I want to get fat first. Unfortunately, I'm too tired or lazy to just keep on eating. I need something that I just need to drink so when I have money, I will buy a mass gainer and hopefully it will make me get fat and when I get the desired sizes of my body like the claves, arms, etc then that's the tine ill go to the gym to form them into muscles.

@jhazzroucher: That is the most ludicrous statement when it comes to putting on muscle. Muscle and fat tissue are two completely different things. One does not become the other and just getting fat will not add any muscle.

http://jasonferruggia.com/muscle-building-diet/ One of the best diets around...provided you actual have a good workout program. I used to be 6'1" and 230lbs of almost pure muscle before I got hurt.

I used very little in the way of supplements and I pretty much feel I didn't need them except for maybe a little in the way of energy but I had a very, VERY high tempo lifestyle and job, so you might not even need that. All the carbs this diet has could pretty much do it for you. Remember, some of the energy producing supplements out there can have negative effects on your heart, research them.

Just advice. Take it for what it's worth.

@buttersdaman000: He’s asking to pack on pounds. I got from Elliot Hulse a few years back, Chris Shugart has suggested it and you can find quite a few variations of it like body weight x 16+ 500 or + 20% etc. And when I suggest a bulk like this to clients or whatever it’s they are low body fat to begin with. I also only recommend this on lean body mass. Fat doesn’t need protein. So a 180lbs lean guy, 3600 at the most isn’t so far out of the realm of bulking up and doing it fast.

Now if they want to lean bulk and such then that’s a much more subtle approach with anywhere from 200-500 calories at the most over maintenance which is its own thing, and that takes a bit more to figure out.

@god_spawn: @jonjizz:but that is what Aahmir Khan did. He was looking good already but he had to get fat for a certain movie. After that, he went back to work out and his body looks bigger and better because his muscles are rounder.

There are countless of bodybuilding/fitness youtube videos and forums about this.

Eat more calories than you need to maintain your weight. With a sufficient amount of protein. Stop with the junk foods cause its useless calories for the most part. Quality calories. I eat chicken rice and broccoli twice a day as my daily steady food. Rest i eat everything from pasta, potatoes, steaks, fish, eggs, oatmeal just about anything thats not junkfood. And supplement with protein shakes etc.
