What does that mean? The UK has had less major incidents than almost any other major Western nation in the world. If anything the world should see how swiftly the UK police deal with incidents as well as prevent them.

Suspected Islamic extremist.

@jwwprod: I don't think it was necessarily ISIS, just a typical Jihadist. Although it's basically the same anyways.

This guy was muslim who had previous convictions for assaults, including GBH, possession of offensive weapons and public order offences. This alone should've mark him out as potential terrorist.

It was definitely a tragic and sad day when this radicalised nutter took innocent lives and injured many others. Although the emergency services deserve a lot of praise for acting quickly and rushing into danger when they didn't know if the attack was over.

It was a really bad thing to happen to those innocent people that were in the middle of everything. I was nearby but I am happy that neither me nor, my girlfriend were unaffected by the whole thing.

Tons of praise for the police and the emergency services for acting so quickly.

Each one of the attackers from big Europe cities for the past 2 years was a convict who was under investigation from different organisations and they still managed to bomb cities, run over people and etc. The big problem is that the attacked countries are too open minded to people like that, convicts who are suspicious but because they are muslim or something else they should be set free because it would be racist otherwise.

@tdk_1997: please, put your fox news information about europe down. These people were under investigation but not found guilty, because there was not enough evidence thats how you handle things in a democratic country you put people in jail when you have proof and not otherwise. Your country lets convicted murderers on the street, because your prisons are to full. But hey remember 3 dead 264 injured people in Boston one of the guys was in the same situation as this attacker yet he could do more damage. And now you talk about europe failing because on an ordinary weekday a person can drive a car? How about you stop condescending bullshit about how people are to openminded because they don't break their own laws and lock up people without sufficient evidence. People are not to openminded because they follow the laws when investigating muslims, ah

RIP to the victims. We should be focusing on the incredible job done by the emergency services. Fast and efficient. Don't give any fame to the attackers and they don't win.

I'm talking about people being killed, not topless protests. The fact you could even conflate the two says a lot about you.

@lunacyde: dude people actually died at the protests that became too violent I mean seriously there is no need to be rude or personal. I asked an honest question and if I simply stated "Islam" it would've been purging religion, so give multiple options that all might be valid and let the OP answer your question I thought that's how comic vine works. Not scolding people who want to be up to date with current events

You do realize my first post was a meme, right?

Also, I know it wasn't you. Still has a gun, though, so my point still stands. If you like that character, you could have found one without a gun aiming at people. The fact you picked that one, means that you like guns, or that character when he is violent.

On a side not, is that an animated snoop dog?

Just checking you understand my avatar is a fictional character.

Your country lets convicted murderers on the street, because your prisons are to full. How about you stop condescending bullshit about how people are to openminded because they don't break their own laws and lock up people without sufficient evidence. People are not to openminded because they follow the laws when investigating muslims, ah

First of all, I am not reading my news from Fox or any brainwashing channel, news site and etc. like that because I simply do not believe them. Where I am coming from it's all from my own point of view from what I have observed myself as a citizen of Europe who has lived in an Eastern European country, in Italy and for the past year the UK - London. I am saying this because throughout the last 3 or 4 years, I don't remember when was the first terror attack in Europe, I have been reading information from various places and as a person who lives on this continent I can judge the situation by myself as well.

Second of all, I can speak my mind as well since as you mentioned, this is how it goes in a democratic country. What I was trying to say is not lock those guys up forever and never let them out because of their beliefs but rather be cautious of people like that, people who have been under investigation because when you know that ISIS are telling you that no country in Europe is safe you have to be extra cautious. The incident now in London isn't the best example. What I have in mind is the attack in Berlin last year, at the Christmas market. The attacker was convicted two times - once in Italy and he was in jail for about an year and after that he was under investigation in Germany. And when you receive a message from the most powerful terrorist organization right now that there will be an attack around Christmas in one of the most important cities in Europe, people like that guy should be investigated as well just in case. It's not racist, or condescending or whatever you are calling it, it is being safe and trying to protect your own people.

And last of all, being openminded to the many refugees is what got Europe to this state. I am not trying to say that we should not accept them because I know you will judge me right away. I just mean that too many were let into Europe and look what happened - so many rape incidents in Sweden and Germany, people being beaten or stabbed to death, terror attacks and so on. ISIS are just trying to force upon us some of their hidden links, people that we would not suspect but that will ruin our lives.

@tdk_1997: The rape statistic in sweden was high long before they took in refugees and trends have not significantly changed since then. Germany likewise does not have many sexuell crimes commited by refugees. And you want them to investigate a guy, that was investigated? Eh? He was investigated! But you know if you're investigated it doesn't necessaeily mean someone can't carry out an attack. You can only stop that that if you have solid proof your just ignorong the numbers of attacks that actually get stopped there will never be complete safety from any sort of attacks whether its terrorist independant or organized crime. And what state is europe in if I may ask? The ones you named are among the richest and safest countrys in europe and the world.

Usual suspects sprouting usual bullshit

Tbh it's a long time comming, got to respect how good Mi5 and the emergency teams in UK are

Been over a decade since last attack and over a hundred have been stopped between, this may seem horrible to say but it's good it wasn't worse like what happened in France with the Lorry, RiP to all those who lost their lives and best wishes to families and injured ones

Though Trump's son should be removed from office and shouldn't speak up, he's literally just embarrassing his country to the world especially with his retort "I don't have to comment on every tweet I send"

That's the excuse they use to downplay the rise. The but they've changed the meaning excuse has been debunked even when Swedish MP's have been there to try and defend it. The rape statistics mirror the increase shown by other countries in rates with the percentage increase in immigrant increase but you will still hear the we just changed the meaning excuse.

The UK government tried to downplay the Rotherham incident until it exploded on social media and nothing has been down about the root problem, grooming goes on today.

The German government tried to downplay the problem with the new years assault until it exploded on social media and nothing has really been done about the root cause, all they do is have more security.

Yet we are to believe Sweden is honest about this when they charged a police officer for coming out and saying that most cases he deals with are from non-Swedes. No charges could be put against him but it shows that they will scare anyone who tries.

You should post this on your facebook, maybe get a few of those virtue signalling likes because you have added nothing of value of to this thread other than make yourself look like an apologist.

Any argument you make from this point would need to come from a place of understanding for those you have insulted if you want to show your not a bias bigot.
