Alright, that's all I needed to know.

It's just that sometimes the reviews at Gamespot are way off.

Gamespot is a pretty good source for reviews on games. Read the whole review, not just the score to weigh up the positive and negative. But yes, zero edge is correct. Most movie-based games are pretty crappy, with horrible camera angles and controls (first-hand experience here). The best movie-based game I played was The Chronicles of Roddick.

Have a look on IGN or look through some gaming magazines for more sources.

I'll check it out. Is the review on gamespot for this game worth reading? Or should I go to IGN?

Well, first off, you should know that there are two really great ones. First is Evil Dead: Fistfull of Boomstick. Now, be careful when shopping for that one, because often times people will think it's Evil Dead: Fistfull of Broomstick, which is just retarded. And as far as games go, it's really good, but it's a little more realistic then you'd think, and you have to watch out for your ammo, and the whole thing feels very scary, especially when you have five shells and a bunch of Hell Demons are on your ass.

Second one is Evil Dead: Regeneration. Now, this one understands far better the concept of "splatstick," and the whole game is based on making you think, "Wow, I was really cool killing all those Deadites." You have infinite ammo, the comic book logic of Army of Darkness applies to the game, and it's just a real fun game, although it's not very difficult at all, and if you're not in a chainsaw and boomstick mood, it can get boring. So, yeah, the two games are really good, but are different in different ways. So, yeah.

I think that the reviews at Gamespot are terrible. They often contradict themselves in their reviews, I find. I much prefer IGN or EGM. Not razzing or nothing, just IMO. Please don't hurt me.......

But, on topic, yeah, FF2: ROTSS sucked real bad, apparently.
