@jagernutt: I can vape 4 tanks daily. Beat that.
Yeah. But usually there's more to it. A lot of times people are rigging them to exceed a much higher battery out put than they are designed for.
I don't believe that and I'll tell you exactly why. As a long time cigarette smoker when I'm stressed about something cigarettes tend to give me a headache and actually hinder my athletic performance. Vaping doesn't do any of that.
@jagernutt: I don’t want to try and override the opinion of someone who actually vapes. But, I’ve never heard of a cigarette exploding and killing a guy...
Yeah. But usually there's more to it. A lot of times people are rigging them to exceed a much higher battery out put than they are designed for.
Pretty much this above.
@jagernutt: Fair enough, but it’s still gonna inflame your lungs.
I got a DOT recently and everything checked out above average. I've been vaping for a few years now. Look nobody is claiming that vaping is good for you. But most serious studies and anecdotal evidence suggests that it is less harmful than cigarettes.
Eww.
Yeah. But usually there's more to it. A lot of times people are rigging them to exceed a much higher battery out put than they are designed for.
People could make Bombs out of them then...
Eww.
Vaping is worse than cigs...Jesus hope you guys don’t die from wet lung..
From what I've read about vaping (it just so happens to be I'm a vaping addict), it's 95% safer than smoking. Then again, it's not without it's not without it's drawbacks.
Really dont see the benefit tbh. I get that theres a slight cognitive benefit from nicotine but the tradeoff is way too much for me. Choline supplements like alpha GPC have similar benefits without all the downsides.
There are concerns surrounding vaping, particularly when it comes to its appeal to young people and non-smokers. The flavors and marketing tactics used by some vape companies have drawn criticism for potentially enticing teenagers to start vaping. Additionally, the long-term health effects of vaping are still not fully understood, so caution is essential.
For those interested in vaping, it's crucial to stay informed about the latest developments and regulations in the vaping industry. Vaping is a complex issue with both potential benefits and significant drawbacks. On the positive side, it's often marketed as a less harmful alternative to traditional smoking and can aid in smoking cessation efforts. However, the negatives are substantial; vaping introduces health risks, including lung injury and addiction to nicotine, particularly among young people who might have never smoked otherwise check this. Additionally, the long-term health effects of vaping are still uncertain. This complexity makes it difficult to label vaping as simply good or bad; it's a mix of potential harm reduction for some and concerning health impacts for others.
As long as we have minors, there will always be vaping. I did Vape to quit smoking tho..only smoked for 4 yrs
@arctika: I used to have seniors buy me things back when I didn't really know the price, little did I know I was giving them enough to buy themselves some...
@AssertingValor: Oh wow that's interesting. So they took advantage you think?
@arctika: they only did that a few times at first, till I became their favorite underclassmen in shop classes lol Then they pretty much acted like older brothers so no harm
As someone who's not a smoker but has friends who have/used to, I personally don't care what others do unless it directly effects me, but by now there has been proof that there's harmful chemicals in them that they use in anti-freeze such as Propylene Glycolis, which is often used in antifreeze because it's more environmentally friendly. Vapes contain around 20% of Propylene Glycolis of a very pure, high grade. Now the companies will claim it's "perfectly safe" however some people have reported such reactions to them as irritating the throat and lungs due to its thin composition. The FDA approves of it, however it's not like historically speaking there hasn't been things we consume or drink that hasn't been entirely good for you either such as salty and sugary snacks, foods etc. Some will say in moderation anything's fine, others will just stay away from things toxic to your body all together. The way I see personally, it's essentially a pick your poison kind of scenario with smoking cigs using carcinogens vs vapes using ingredients used in antifreeze so yeah...hard pass on both. lol
@AssertingValor: Haha right on. They must have been pretty cool then. 👍
