Faber would be too scared to fight him. McGregor makes him hit the deck like a bish just like Mendes.

Why would Faber be scared? He went 5 rounds with Aldo after he could barely walk due to leg kicks.
@comicstooge: I'm just being a fanboy. As for what I really think, Faber would definitely put up a good fight but still fall short. McGregor's stand up is too good for most of the featherweights.

Fair point.
I'm aware it exists.
@comicstooge: Then I would suggest you post your battles and satisfy your curiosity there. :)

You let me worry about where I put my posts, officer.
@comicstooge: Alrighty.
@lagoonboy2: For the record, who do you think wins?
In his prime, Faber would hold McGregor down for 3-5 rounds & possibly submit him.
This was my thoughts, but to be fair. Connor has really good footwork. In fact, its actually pretty great. Which would make Faber getting a hold of him more difficult.
@khael: True, anything can happen in a fight
Good question. I don't know, and the reason I don't know is we haven't seen Conor's limit yet. He has to fail before we can say 'okay, he can't do that'. So far he has KOed all the opposition placed in front of him (with the exception of his early career). So we don't know how much wrestling is too much wrestling for Conor.
Nobody knows unless the fight happen
We can't just predict a real fight with their current feats
Yes anything can happen in a fight, but based off of their performances in the octagon and their respective fighting styles we can make an educated guess.

Except for Max Holloway who he fought to a decision. To be fair Conor was injured, but that's not my point :P.
@benjamin_poindexter: @lagoonboy2: @khael: @laflux: @the_shogun: @those_eyes: @thenaughtytitan: I was originally gonna make Conor vs RDA, but I think RDA would probably wreck.
@comicstooge: Yeah you're right about that, RDA would absolutely destroy Conor.
@comicstooge: To tell you the truth I've never been impressed with RDA. He beat Pettis by executing the right gameplan against a very talented but very flawed fighter who had been plagued by injuries.

He beat Cowboy and Benson as well, how are you not impressed by him?
@comicstooge: I think Dos Anjos would win. He took Pettis down like 11 times in there bout. Pettis doesn't have the best Take-Down defense but his footwork and spacing are amazing, which allows him to do all of his showy kicks. Connor's Footwork isn't that much better that he won't catch him sooner rather than later.
@the_shogun: Pettis' injuries have only hampered him really since he lost. He was perfectly healthy and confident, but he just got dominated.

I think footwork gets you only so far when avoiding takedowns. Chad had McGregor flat on his back for 3/4 of their fight.
@comicstooge: exactly
@laflux: Sure but he was dominated for a reason. And that reason was his known flaws and weakesses against pressure fighting. RDA had his number.
@thenaughtytitan: Because Cowboy was two years ago and the Cowboy of 2015 didn't exist in 2013. Benson was a solid win but it was also a win in which a fighter with inferior size and strength decided to stand in the pocket and throw leather. Not exactly sure what he expected to happen. That's never been Benson's strength; he's always excelled when he used his footwork and diverse skillset. Not biting down on his mouthpiece and going toe to toe.
