WELCOME TO THE ULTIMATE MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3 MAFIA!!!
GAMEPLAY MECHANICS:
Typically, there are 3 sides, consisting of Heroes, Villains, and 3rd Parties. The heroes would normally have the numbers advantage, whereas the villains would have the advantage of already knowing who each other are via group PM. This means that while the heroes must be more cautious and can only speak in the main thread, the villains can openly discuss strategy in their own PM.
There are 2 cycles/phases which lasts as long as the host chooses: the day and the night. During the night, everyone may use their eligible active abilities. The villains also have the advantage of a nightly kill assigned to a random member of their team each night. During the day, it is the heroes’ job to try and “lynch” a villain by majority voting them out of the game.
The Heroes win if they eliminate all Villains, the Villains win if they eliminate all Heroes, and the 3rd Party characters all have their own individual win conditions and can simply act in their own best interest. However, this game I’ve gone a different route…
This isn’t about heroes and villains; this is TEAM MARVEL vs. TEAM CAPCOM. Each team will have the same amount of players and there will be no group PM. In other words, everyone must figure out who their teammates are and who they can trust. As always, the 3rd Party members may act however they please. The 3rd party members will be comprised of boss characters and characters from older installments in the MvC franchise.
There are still 2 cycles/phases, but rather than the villains getting a nightly kill, the two teams will be able to use this ability on alternating nights (Capcom will be even nights, and Marvel will be odd nights). The win conditions remain the same: team Marvel must eliminate team Capcom, and vice versa.
You’ll notice there are 2 types of abilities: active and passive (though not every character has both). Active abilities must be activated by the player, and should be sent to the host via PM during the night phase. They can be used once per night unless stated otherwise. Passive abilities will automatically activate by themselves.
RULES & GUIDELINES:
Don't post any screenshots to prove your role, someone else's, or for any reason really.
Unless you're a villain, no PMing other players. This is all considered cheating and is not tolerated (it also ruins the game for everyone). The Villains group PM is the only accepted PM (doesn’t apply here).
If you're a villain, don't reveal another villain without the unanimous consent of the rest of your group. (Again, doesn’t apply here.)
If you died, you can talk in the main thread, but no discussing gameplay.
Make sure you bold your vote, or else it won't be counted. If you're on mobile, ask someone to bold it for you.
If you know someone cheated or believe someone cheated, send me a PM about it. Avoid accusing each other on the game thread.
Lying, deceit, manipulation, misdirection, etc. are all part of the game, but try to avoid personal attacks on other players. Playful jabs are okay, but if you are too harsh or hostile, I will be forced to remove you from the game.
Don't quit simply because you don't like your role. Any role can be useful if played right.
Lastly, if you're inactive for too long (no nightly actions or posts in the main thread), I WILL kick you out of the game. You'll be given 2 nights, and I’ll warn you beforehand.
SPECIAL ABILITIES:
So keeping in spirit with the game, I’ve decided to incorporate some of UMvC3’s more…unique aspects:
Assists: Each type of assist can only be used once per team, and will be used by whoever requests it first. Once per game, a player can choose to assist someone. Whoever you assist will not be informed beforehand. This can happen in 1 of 2 ways:
Defensive: You choose another player, and basically play sacrificial lamb for the night. It’s similar to a protection, but instead of you simply protecting them from harm, you’re putting yourself in harm’s way: anything that would’ve happened to them will happen to you instead.
Offensive: You choose another role, and add your active ability to their nightly actions. E.g. If you have the ability to stun, and you decide to assist Phoenix Wright, whoever he targets (assuming he targets anyone) will not only be investigated, but stunned for the night as well.
X-Factor: Who doesn’t love a good comeback? When a team reaches 4 players left, that team will receive 2 nightly kills when it’s their turn. This will only happen once.
CHARACTER SELECT:
What good is a fighting game if you can’t pick your characters? Feel free to PM me your character choices/preferences and I will DO MY BEST to accommodate them. You can send as many as you want and organize them however you wish. Just make sure it’s clear to me which choices take priority over the others. If you don’t send any choices, I’ll assign a random role.
Note: role choices won’t be assigned until I know exactly how many people are playing.
ABILITY PRIORITY:
Doom Time (Doctor Doom)
Redirection
Electromagnetic Disruptor (Magneto)
Switching
Linking
Protection
Stun/Disable
Investigation
All other abilities
Kills
Nightly kill
ROLES:
MARVEL
Captain America (Captain America/Avengers)
Recipient of the Super Soldier Serum, Steve Rogers is the long-time leader of the Avengers (Hail Hydra…sorry). His deep love for his country and unparalleled sense of justice make him one of the most respected heroes today.
Stars & Stripes (active) – Can protect one player per night, once per night.
Final Justice (passive) – If Captain America is killed, there will be no deaths the following cycle (i.e. if he’s killed at night, there will be no lynch, and if he’s lynched, there will be no kills the next night).
Deadpool (…X-Men, I guess? Pretty much everywhere. He’s popular.)
Wade Wilson: The Merc with a Mouth. He’s one badass mofo who—the hell?! Who wrote this? Wade joined Weapon X in an attempt to cure his cancer. Though he was given an insane healing factor, he was left disfigured and psychologically…unstable.
Trigger Happy (active) – Can kill one player per night, once per night.
4th Wall Crisis (passive) – “As the most important character in this game, I should get a little more sway when it comes to lynching, so here’s how it’s gonna go down. Every day that I abstain from voting, I get an extra vote for the next lynch. Sound fair? I thought so.”
Doctor Doom (Fantastic Four)
He is the monarch of Latveria and the main enemy of the Fantastic Four, though he’s tangled with many heroes. One of the smartest people on Earth, a genius scientist and inventor, and a keen strategist, Doom has often sought to conquer the world and beyond.
Doom’s Time (active) – If Doom uses this ability on a player, their active ability will fall dead last in priority during the nightly events. He can use this once per night.
Molecular Shield (passive) – All harmful interactions other than kill attempts will fail.
Doctor Strange (Doctor Strange/Avengers/Defenders)
Once a renowned surgeon, Stephen Strange was in a car accident that irreparably damaged the nerves in his hands. Desperate, he travelled to Tibet, where he met and studied under the Ancient One, a powerful sorcerer. Strange would go on to succeed the Ancient One as The Sorcerer Supreme.
Illusion (active) – Once per night, Strange can cast an illusion spell on one player of his choosing, which will make them undetectable the following day. This will make them “unlynchable” for that day.
Eye of Agamotto (passive) – Using this powerful mystical artifact, Doctor Strange will receive the identity of all players who die. Should both Strange and Morrigan die, all identities following their deaths will be revealed.
Dormammu (Doctor Strange)
Dormammu is a member of the Faltine, a race of energy beings, and is the ruler of the Dark Dimension. Possessing immense mystical power, the malevolent villain is the sworn enemy of Doctor Strange. He’s conquered many dimensions, and has tried to conquer Earth as well.
Dark Spell: Creation (active) – Each night, Dormammu can select one player, and if they are investigated, they will appear as a member of the opposite team (if investigated by a 3rd, they will appear as Marvel or Capcom). The nightly report will not say who he used it on.
Dark Dimension (passive) – Whoever kills Dormammu will be transported to the Dark Dimension, and for 3 days, will lose the ability to vote.
Ghost Rider (Ghost Rider)
After making a deal with Mephisto to save his step-father, Johnny Blaze was cursed and bonded to the demon Spirit of Vengeance, Zarathos, allowing him to project and control Hellfire. Riding his fiery motorcycle, he seeks out vengeance for sins committed.
Penance Stare (active) – Ghost Rider can select one player per night, and see whether they’ve stunned or killed anyone throughout the game. If they’ve done either one, the action will in turn be done to them (Note: killing takes priority here).
Spirit of Vengeance (passive) – Ghost Rider has an increased chance of being selected as the nightly killer for his team.
Hell’s Embrace (passive) – If Ghost Rider is selected as the nightly killer, the kill can’t be protected against, nor can he be disabled.
Hawkeye (Hawkeye/Avengers)
Trained by a traveling circus from an early age to be a master archer, Hawkeye joined the Avengers in order to protect the world from evil. Though a bit overconfident and rash, his uncanny ability to shoot with pinpoint precision and at astonishing speeds makes him formidable.
Shock Value (active) – Hawkeye can fire one of his trick arrows, stunning one player per night, once per night.
Trick Shot (passive) – Hawkeye is an expert at making impossible shots. There’s a 25% chance that his Shock Value will evade protection.
Iron Fist (Iron Fist/Heroes for Hire/Defenders)
Daniel Rand studied martial arts in the mystic city of K'un L'un for 10 years and was their strongest student. Mastering spiritual energy, or “chi”, he defeated the dragon known as Shou-Lao the Undying and gained the title of Iron Fist.
Wall of K’un Lun (active) – Can protect one player per night, once a night.
M.O.D.O.K. (Captain America/Hulk)
He was once just a technician named George Tarleton before being used in an experiment by A.I.M. He was transformed into the grotesque M.O.D.O.K. (Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing), and became the leader of the organization.
Analysis Cube (active) – Can investigate one player per night, once per night.
Big Barrier (active) – For one night during the game, M.O.D.O.K. can protect himself and two other players (who will be informed they are being protected). However, neither M.O.D.O.K. nor the two players can act for the night. Anyone who does will lose the protection.
Magneto (X-Men)
Eric Lehnsherr is a powerful mutant with the ability to manipulate magnetism and metal. Believing mutants to be the next stage of evolution (dubbing them homo superior), he aims to rule over humankind.
Hyper Gravitation (active) – Magneto can use his magnetism to link any two players for the night (whatever happens to one player will also happen to the other). He can use this once per night.
Electromagnetic Disruptor (active) – Will cause a random player’s nightly actions to miss their target.

Healing Field (active) – Starting on night 3, Phoenix can revive one player per night, with a two night recharge.
Dark Phoenix (passive/active) – If Phoenix is killed, she will be resurrected as Dark Phoenix, and her will becomes absolute. Every other night (starting the night following her death), she will be able to investigate, protect, stun, or kill. This will bypass protection, but not counter abilities.
Rocket Raccoon (Guardians of the Galaxy)
Rocket Raccoon is an anthropomorphic raccoon from the planet Halfworld. He’s a weapons expert, a brilliant tactician and strategist, and an accomplished pilot. He uses these skills as a member of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Tunnel Rat (active) - Once a night, Rocket can burrow underground and follow one player. He will see anyone who interacts with that player.
Angel Gift (active) - Once every 3 nights (starting on night 3), Rocket can give someone a second use of their abilities. Note that I will try my best in the nightly events not to reveal what player/role was given this second use.
Shuma-Gorath (Doctor Strange/Avengers)
The Lord of the Chaos Dimension and ruler of a hundred dimensions, Shuma-Gorath is one of the most powerful beings in the multiverse, dwarfing the likes of Mephisto and Satannish. His power is near infinite, and even the smallest fraction of his power has taken the best efforts of Doctor Strange and others to defeat.
Mystic Stare (active) – Can investigate one player per night, once per night.

Peter was bitten by a radioactive spider at a public science exhibit, granting him special abilities. When his Uncle Ben was killed by a criminal Peter could have stopped but chose not to, he vowed to live by the belief that "with great power there must also come--great responsibility. (That’s the original quote. I swear. Look it up.)"
Web Ball (active) – Peter can disable one person per night, once per night.
Web Glide (passive) – Peter’s not the easiest guy to tag. He will avoid the first harmful interaction against him in the game.
Storm (X-Men)
Former pickpocket turned weather goddess, Ororo Munroe is one of the most powerful mutants on the X-Men, and has often led the team in Cyclop’s/Professor X’s stead. The former Queen of Wakanda (I prefer to forget that) has the ability to manipulate all aspects of the weather.
Double Typhoon (active) – Storm can switch the position of any two players, once per night.
Wolverine (X-Men)
Originally appearing in The Incredible Hulk #180, Wolverine has become one of the most popular X-Men characters to date. With claws, an adamantium-coated skeleton, and an incredible healing factor, he’s the best he is at what he does…but what he does isn’t very nice.
Weapon X (active) – Wolverine can kill one player. Has a one night recharge.
Progeny (passive) – Automatically knows who X-23 is.
Berserker Rage (passive) – Logan may go down, but he won’t go down alone. Whoever kills Wolverine will also be killed.
X-23 (X-Men)
Originally created from a damaged gene sample from Wolverine, Laura Kinney was made to be the perfect killing machine. She was a notable assassin, but sought to change once she met Wolverine and the X-Men.
Silent Kill (active) – Can kill one player per night, with a 2 night recharge. This cannot be defended against.
Legacy (passive) – Automatically knows who Wolverine is.

Reflector Chain (passive) – The first harmful interaction (not including investigations) will reflect onto her assailant.

Quicksilver (active) – Can switch any two players, once per night.
Devil Must Die (active) – Can kill once per night; can only be used with Devil Trigger.
Sons of Sparda (passive) – Automatically knows who Vergil is.
Devil Trigger (passive) – If Vergil is killed, Dante will trigger. Once triggered, Dante’s active changes from Quicksilver to Devil Must Die, and he will gain the ability to kill once per night.
Felicia (Darkstalkers)
Felicia is a “catwoman” who was taken in by a Catholic nun. She had aspirations of becoming a musical star. Though she eventually achieved her dream, she realized that she would be happier opening an orphanage for children who shared her circumstances.
Sand Splash (active) – Once per night, Felicia can toss sand in a player’s eye, disabling them for that night.
Cat & Mouse (passive) – If she is investigated, she will appear as a random role. She will never appear as the same role twice.
Firebrand (Ghosts ‘n Goblins)

Demon Missile (active) - Can kill one player per night, once per night.

He’s a freelance photographer who’s willing to take on anyone to get his scoop. His willingness to dive head-first into any dangerous situation has saved his life as many times as it has put him in mortal peril.
Snapshot (active) – Can investigate one player, once per night.
Survival Techniques (passive) – If nothing else, Frank is a survivor. If a kill attempt is made on him, he has a 30% chance of living through it.
Haggar (Final Fight)
Mike Haggar is a former professional wrestler who became the mayor of Metro City. Calling himself the "Fighting Mayor," he took a more “hands-on” approach to ridding his city of crime, teaming up with his friends to take on the Mad Gear crime syndicate.
Steel Pipe (active) – Once per night, Haggar can stand vigilant over a player with his steel pipe, keeping them safe.
Morrigan (Darkstalkers)
She is a succubus, a demonic creature able to seduce men, though she has no evil intent. Though she is the head of the Aensland house, and the rightful ruler of Makai (the demon/ghoul world), she often abandons her duties in pursuit of excitement.
Dark Illusion (active) – Once per night, Morrigan can use her magic on one player of her choosing, and make them “unlynchable” for the following day.
Astral Vision (passive) – As Queen of Makai, Morrigan will receive the identity of all players who die. Should both Morrigan and Strange die, all identities following their deaths will be revealed.
Nemesis T-Type (Resident Evil)
A tyrant-type B.O.W. tasked with eliminating S.T.A.R.S. and anyone connected to them. Having monstrous super strength and retaining a fair amount of intelligence due to the Nemesis parasite, he is able to effectively carry around a rocket launcher and follow orders.
Deadly Reach (active) – Once a night, Nemesis can choose one player to protect from stuns only. If anyone attempts to stun his chosen player, they will be stunned instead.
Fatal Mutation (active) – Once during the game, Nemesis can convert one random Marvel or 3rd Party member to the Capcom side. Not available until night 4.
Biohazard Rush (passive) – Whoever kills Nemesis will need to be quarantined, and will be disabled the following night.
Phoenix Wright (Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney)
He is a defense attorney at the Wright & Co. Law Offices. He specializes in criminal law, and despite the difficulty of many of his cases, he has turned the cases around for every one of his clients.
Investigation Mode (active) – Can investigate one player, once per night.
Ace Attorney (active) – If Phoenix Wright successfully investigates 3 Marvel characters (3rd party characters not included; doesn’t have to be on consecutive nights), he can press charges. They will be stunned for 2 nights. However, they can’t be interacted with during this time, and they maintain the ability to vote. E.g. say he previously investigated 3 players and 2 of them were Marvel. Then the 4th player was also Marvel. The 4th player (along with the previous 2 Marvel members) would all be disabled. It automatically kicks in once 3 Marvel players have been investigated.
Ryu (Street Fighter)
The main protagonist of the Street Fighter series, Ryu wanders the globe engaging in battles and seeking to become stronger.
Hadoken (active) – Can stun one player, once per night.
Shinku Hadoken (active) – Targets a player on one night, and will kill them the following night.
Spencer (Bionic Commando)
Nathan Spencer was a member of the U.S. military who lost his arm to a grenade, but it was replaced with a bionic one in an experimental project. However, he was falsely accused of several crimes, branded a traitor, and sentenced to death by his government. With the emergence of a new bionic threat, he was offered a pardon for his help.
Come’ere! (active) – Once per night, Spencer can use his bionic arm to link 2 players together.
Strider Hiryu (Strider)
Hiryu is a cyber ninja from the future. He is a member of the Striders, a secret organization specializing in sabotage, assassination, demolition, etc., that has worked behind the scenes throughout history. He’s the youngest Strider to achieve Special A-Class status and is the organization's best assassin.
Excalibur (active) – As a high ranking ninja, killing multiple targets is nothing new to Hiryu. He can kill an extra target for every successive night that he doesn’t make a kill attempt (e.g. 2 previous nights without a kill attempt means he can target 3 people on the 3rd night). However, this takes concentration and his vote will not be counted during the day as long as he is preparing to strike.
Tron (Mega Man)
Tron Bonne is the 14-year-old only daughter of the Bonne family of air pirates. She’s a genius inventor and engineer, able to build anything, from her little Servbots to large aerial battleships.
Servbot Launcher (active) – Once per night, Tron Bonne can send one of her Servbots to watch over another player and see if anyone interacts with that player.
Vergil (Devil May Cry)
He’s the other half-demon, half human son of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda, and the twin brother of Dante. Blaming himself for not being able to protect his mother, Vergil cherishes power over everything, and will go to any lengths to gain more.
Beowulf Gauntlets (active) – Can protect any player, once per night.
Dark Angel (active) – Can kill once per night; can only be used with Devil Trigger.
Sons of Sparda (passive) – Automatically knows who Dante is.
Devil Trigger (passive) – If Dante is killed, Vergil will trigger. Once triggered, Vergil’s active changes from Beowulf Gauntlets to Dark Angel, and he will gain the ability to kill once per night.
Viewtiful Joe (Viewtiful Joe)
Joe was just a 17-year-old who loved the movies, until that fateful day he and his girlfriend Silvia were sucked into Movieland and she was kidnapped. He received a V-Watch from Captain Blue, becoming Viewtiful Joe. His VFX Power gives him abilities similar to camera effects seen in movies.
Viewtiful God Hand (active) – Joe can redirect a player’s target onto another player of his choosing. Has a one night recharge.
Wesker (Resident Evil)
Albert Wesker was once one of the Umbrella Corporation's top scientists and executives. He betrayed his team and the organization to further his own goals. Having perfected the Uroboros Virus, he plans to infect the global population with it, leaving only the chosen ones, such as himself, to create a new world.
Lost in Nightmares (active) – Wesker can capture one player. They will be ineligible to act or vote until Wesker releases them or is killed. Wesker cannot capture someone else on the same night he releases a player (must release a player one night, and capture another player the following night).
Phantom Dance (passive) – Wesker will survive one lynch attempt.
3RD PARTY
Anakaris (Darkstalkers)
Anakaris was once a pharaoh in Ancient Egypt. After he died his mummified body was placed inside a pyramid in a "Chamber of Resurrection" where he spent the following millennia in stasis, gaining power. He awoke in the present, during the arrival of Pyron (Darkstalkers villain). At the game’s conclusion, Anakaris, now imbued with great magical powers, traveled back in time to the past to protect his empire and continue his reign as Pharaoh.
Pharaoh Illusion (active) – Anakaris can choose one target and tamper with their mind. If they make a kill attempt, there’s a 33% chance Anakaris will be struck instead.
Doll Curse (passive) – Anakaris cannot die permanently. He will be revived the night after his death, and whoever killed him will be temporarily transformed into a “doll”. This will strip them of all abilities during the night Anakaris is resurrected. Note: The "doll" condition only lasts for the night Anakaris is resurrected.
Win Condition: Eternal Slumber – Anakaris gains power whenever he is in stasis. He must “die” 3 times.
Apocalypse (X-Men)
En Sabah Nur was born over 5,000 years ago in ancient Egypt, and is one of the oldest mutants in existence. He lives by the philosophy that only the strong should survive. His body has been enhanced by celestial technology, and that combined with his natural mutant abilities makes him one of the most powerful beings to walk the Earth.
Death (active) – Apocalypse can kill once per night, with a two night recharge. However, if he kills someone on his declared team, they will view it as treason, and he will be cast out.
War (passive) – Any harmful interactions from members of Apocalypse’s chosen side will fail. E.g. If Apocalypse has chosen to side with team Capcom, and Ryu tries to stun him, it will fail.
Win Condition: Survival of the Fittest – Apocalypse must choose a side to affiliate with, and his chosen side must win. He can change sides whenever he wants, but his decision will be locked in by night 5.
B.B. Hood (Darkstalkers)
Baby Bonnie Hood is a special S-Class Darkhunter (bounty hunters who kill demons for money). She’s also a murderous psychopath. Despite her innocent appearance, she’s a homicidal schizophrenic with a penchant for weapons, and a heart so dark that despite being fully human, a villain actually considered her a Darkstalker.
Smile & Missile (active) – Can kill one player per night, but she requires one night to load and aim her missile.
Beautiful Memory (passive) – B.B. Hood has really good resistance to mental attacks. All investigations will fail.
Dan is the almighty master of the self-taught, self-created, Saikyo-ryu style (“Strongest style”). In reality, Dan is a pathetic joke character, though he’s built his own fan base over the years. With an infinite amount of taunts, and moves that are basically water-downed versions of the Ansatsuken (martial arts used by Ryu, Ken, etc.), Dan is…not at all a force to be reckoned with.
Gadoken (active) – This is Dan’s version of a standard hadoken. It has nearly no range, does minimal damage, and dissipates rather quickly. However, it’s enough to protect him from a kill attempt. This has a one night recharge.
Premium Sign (active) – So, this is not really an attack. It’s really Dan signing an autograph and throwing it. Look on the bright side—if someone attacks Dan on the night he uses this, they will instead be puzzled by the autograph and choose not to interact with Dan for the rest of the game. This can only be used three times for the game.
Win Condition: Chouhatsu Densetsu (Legendary Taunt) – The condition is simple…sort of. All Dan wants to do is survive until the end of the game. The thing is, if someone kills Dan, they will avoid 1 random ability during the night.
Galactus (Fantastic Four/Silver Surfer)
Galan, or Galactus, is the immensely powerful “Devourer of Worlds” (we’re not using the Lifebringer here). He is the only survivor of the universe that existed before the Big Bang. Imbued with the Power Cosmic, there are nearly no limits to his capabilities. However, to sustain himself he must consume the energy from entire planets.
Cosmic Vision (active) – Galactus needs 3 Heralds. Each night, Galan can select 2 players and have the host send them each an invitation (via PM) on his behalf. If they choose to become Heralds, they will learn who Galactus is (conversely, Galactus will learn their roles as well). Their win condition will become to help Galactus fulfill his own.
Cosmic Ray (active) – Once during the game, Galactus can revive 1 Herald. He must wait 3 nights after the death of whichever Herald he chooses to revive.
Ultimate Nullifier (passive) – Galactus will NOT be killed easily. There are 2 methods to kill him: 2) at least 60% of all active players must vote to lynch him; or 3) his heralds must be killed first, leaving him vulnerable.
Win Condition: Planet Destroyer – Galactus wants to feed, and he’s not too fond of resistance. His goal is for at least one side to be reduced to 3 or less members.
Ken Masters (Street Fighter)
Ken is one of the main protagonists of the Street Fighter franchise, and is the childhood friend, training partner, and rival of Ryu. Unlike the stoic Ryu, Ken is much more brash and flashy. Ken’s top priority is the well-being of his wife and son, but he can’t help but push himself to keep up with Ryu’s progress.
Shoryuken (active) – While Ryu favors the hadoken, Ken has always favored the rising uppercut. This technique can stun one player, once per night.
Shoryu Reppa (active) – Targets a player on one night, and will kill them the following night.
Win condition: Shinryuken – Ken’s rivalry with his best friend is perhaps his biggest motivation as a fighter. He must have at least the same amount of combined kills and stuns as Ryu.
M. Bison (Street Fighter)
Bent on world domination and ultimate power, the arrogant Bison (though he’s proven more than capable of justifying this trait) is the wielder of the evil energy known as Psycho Power, the leader of the global crime syndicate Shadaloo, and the main villain of the Street Fighter franchise.
Head Press (active) – M. Bison wants a body that can completely contain his Psycho Power. He’s also always looking out for new recruits, whether they are willing, or need to be…persuaded. Every night, Bison can investigate 2 players, but will not reveal their identities.
Vega Warp (active) – Once per night, Bison can protect himself. However, he cannot investigate on these nights.
Win Condition: Psycho Population – Bison has to learn the identity of every single player in the game, either through his own investigations or otherwise, and turn in a completed list to the host. He can only turn in one list per cycle (day or night), and I will only confirm if it is 100% correct or not.
Mega Man (Mega Man)
In the year 20XX, Dr. Thomas Light designed Rock, a small robot who was meant to be a lab assistant and general tool user. When Light’s colleague, Dr. Wily, reprogrammed many of Light’s other robots and began wreaking havoc on the city, Rock volunteered to be converted into a fighting robot, becoming Mega Man. With a strong sense of justice, Mega Man and his friends made it their duty to stop Dr. Wily and save the city.
Leaf Shield (active) – Mega Man can use this shield to protect one person, once per night.
Mega Buster (active) – This ability can be used to either disable one person per night, or kill one person per night. If it is used to kill, Mega Man will require one night of charge time first, during which no other abilities can be used (e.g. If it will be fired on night 3, Mega Man can’t use any abilities on night 2).
Win Condition: Hyper Mega Man – All villainous roles in the game, regardless of affiliation, must be vanquished. (Villains include Doctor Doom, Dormammu, M.O.D.O.K., Magneto, Dark Phoenix*, Shuma Gorath, Akuma, Nemesis T-Type, Tron, Vergil, Wesker, Apocalypse, B.B. Hood, Galactus, M. Bison, Sabretooth, and Thanos)
Psylocke (X-Men/X-Force)
Elizabeth "Betsy" Braddock is a mutant with vast telepathic and telekinetic powers that she can focus into deadly weapons (such as her trademark “knife”). She’s also an expert martial artist, having been a ninja at one point.
Psy-Blast (active) – Psylocke wants to find Jean Grey. Once per night, Psylocke can probe the mind of another player. If the player is not an investigator, they will send her one message of their choice. If they are an investigator, she will forcibly receive the result of one of their previous investigations (chosen at random).
Psy-Maelstrom (active) – Psylocke only gets 2 uses of this ability, and it can only be used if she has found Jean. If Jean hasn’t become Dark Phoenix, Pyslocke will strip her of the Phoenix Force for 1 day and 1 night (doesn’t affect Healing Field). If Jean has become Dark Phoenix, Pyslocke will strip her of the Phoenix Force for 1 day (and disable her for the night she took the power). In both cases, her goal is to be killed while in possession of the Phoenix Force.
Win condition: Burden of the Telepath – As a fellow telepath, she knows just how dangerous the Phoenix Force can be. Either Jean Grey must die, or Psylocke must die while in possession of the Phoenix Force.
Rogue (X-Men)
Anna Marie was originally a villain under Mystique, but has become a prominent member of the X-Men and is currently part of the Uncanny Avengers. She has the ability to absorb the thoughts, memories, powers, skills, personality, and even the life from anyone through physical contact.
Power Drain (active) – Rogue can select one player per night, and copy their ability (will not receive specific name of ability, only its power). Any ability she steals can only be used the same night it is copied. However, she’ll also receive any inherent drawbacks if she uses the ability.
Win Condition: Goodnight Sugah – Rogue must copy 5 different types of abilities. Note that she doesn’t actually have to use them to win.
Sabretooth (X-Men)
Victor Creed is a ruthless killer and longtime enemy of Wolverine. Like Wolverine, Sabretooth was once part of the Weapon X program.
Hunting (active) – Can investigate one player per night, but cannot reveal their identity under any circumstances.
Wild Fang (active) – Can kill one player per night, but if it’s someone other than his targets, his identity will be revealed publicly.
Win condition: The True Best – As far as Sabretooth is concerned, he’s the best thing to ever come out of the Weapon X program. By the end of the game, Wolverine, X-23, and Deadpool must all die, whether he kills them or not, and Sabretooth must live.
Thanos (Thanos/Infinity/Warlock)
Thanos was born on Titan, Saturn’s moon. Born to Eternals, but also possessing the Deviant gene, he is a mutant among his people, and his abilities, both physical and otherwise, far surpass those of other Titans. He’s obsessed with Mistress Death, the physical embodiment of death, and has wiped out countless beings in order to gain her favor.
Titan Crush (active) – This ability allows Thanos to either stun one player once per night, or stun two players per night, but with a one night recharge.
Death Sphere (active) – Can kill once per night, with a two night recharge. Titan Crush cannot be used while this is recharging.
Win condition: Gauntlet Power – Thanos must complete the Infinity Gauntlet. The 6 Infinity Gems will be distributed among 6 random roles, which Thanos will be given at the beginning of the game, and he must either stun or kill the players that have them. If a holder of an Infinity Gem is killed by someone other than Thanos, their gem will go to one of the remaining holders of the gems.
@indomitableregal: I do get that, I just have reservations about the setup in general. But hey, people have had fun with it before so I'm not here to naysay.

Wade Wilson: The Merc with a Mouth. He’s one badass mofo who—the hell?! Who wrote this?
@travd6: Ok. Assuming I start by then, I'm gonna have longer phases on Thursday and Friday anyway (taking Thanksgiving and Black Friday into account). I'll keep you updated though.

I'm working 12's this week with a couple hours of driving tacked on, Thanksgiving or black friday will be my last day, short job.
@misterwhisper tried this approach with Dc and Marvel but player wasn't very active and I tried to lead the thirds to lynch some roles cause they would kill one of us but no one followed me. During one day phase there were only 3 votes. I like the idea but I don't know if works.
