Senator McCain, I believe, has called for the ouster of Turkey's ambassador for this. I can't say I disagree with this.

John McCain was right when he said that the Turkish ambassador should be kicked out of the country.

Boy do I wish he was President.

The funny thing is that Turkey is complaining that the guards are being treated unfairly.

Maybe that's how they do it in their country, but you can't come onto American soil, moreso as a guest that has been invited, and then proceed to attack Americans who are protesting and have every right to do so.

This was like 30 years ago but a friend of mine who grew up in Turkey was telling me the cops broke a mans feet in the street for throwing a shoe at him.

I think the guards were acting like they were in Turkey because Erdogan was staying at the embassy at the time. Question is were they actually on embassy property at the time they were kicking the crap out of American citizens. Not that the us gov't will do much regardless.

It's disgusting. Even with diplomatic immunity (which they do have), they can be prevented from ever returning to the United States. Hopefully, at the very least, this will be pursued.

Seems uncharacteristic of the US government to take this so lightly
