Define "successful." Define "worst." The worst overall is probably what you intended (a little effort in the OP goes a long way).
I never found Avery Brooks (Captain Sisko in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) to be a great actor. I don't know if you'd consider him successful, though.
Obviously, all actors have some amount of ability, or else they wouldn't find work.
Perhaps Edward Furlong. Again, I don't know if you'd deem him successful. As for adult actors, one could probably make an argument for Arnold Schwarzenegger or Sylvester Stallone. I happen to like them both, but I could see how some may consider them to lack acting chops.
@captainsweatpan: I mean you don't necessarily have to be an expert on something to criticize it. Like I'm not a chef, but I know when a steak is bad. I could say the same thing for acting really. You don't have to be an actor or director to tell the difference between bad and good acting. I mean I can definitely tell the difference between something like Nicolas Cage in the Wicker Man and Al Pacino in Scarface.
