I couldn't find one that exists, so I made this one. Feel free to let me know if it actually does exist.

I also made this since I am a huge space buff and I could find people to talk with about this subject.

Anyway, this is the thread where you Viners can discuss space!

I remember doing research on facts about space like time dilation and speed of light travel. Also searching for different planets and their environment conditions compared to Earth. Was interesting stuff to learn, as well as cosmic storms or weather.

I actually study similar things.

@goldeneagle: Thanks, I thought discussing space was a good idea since nobody would get angry over unpopular opinions or wank or whatever.

@catman5: Yeah. Smart. Although, knowing Comicvine, and peoples disregard for science sometimes, people are gonna start falsely claiming that gamma ray bursts are building level.

@goldeneagle: TBH as u said, those people care nothing about science, so they wouldn't even bother on this thread.

@catman5: What in your opinion is the reason that the universe exists? Is it inevitable that if there is nothing, then there is nothing keeping the universe from existing? Even if the universe has existed forever, it would still have a beginning. Technically, even an infinite dimensional universe where there would be no beginning, there would still be an outside of it that would "view" the infinite dimensions as linear. and that would therefore have a beginning. Right?

@goldeneagle: Really, that's not for anyone to say because we just don't know enough about mere existence itself. We exist because of the existence of other beings, and that's a chain reaction in the universe up until the Big Bang. I honestly feel like we could answer this question better if we knew what was before the Big Bang, and it certainly could not have been nothing because the particles existed to spark the Big Bang. I am also a believer of the reborn universe theory which says that our universe was reborn from a dead one and our universe will be reborn again.

Is the same amount of sky that would be blocked out by a grain of sand an arms length away!

Also, you can see gravitational lensing occurring!

This is due to the immense cluster of galaxy which bends light because of the mass of the value of galaxies in that area. It's pretty cool

I saw some Space Hippos on Jupiter when I was going back Home. It's amazing the stuff that is in Outer Space. The Great Polar Rhinos of Neptune that Sing are something else too.
