The TV Show Suggestion Thread

You list three shows you enjoy and then we will give you a suggestion for something else you may like to watch.

Person 1 I really liked Death Note, Monster, and Baccano.

Person 2 It seems like you enjoy dark mystery anime, you should try Paranoia Agent.

Assuming they do not have to be current:

Angel, Titus, and Firefly

Try "The Magician". It has the same mood as Angel and Firefly with some of the humor you would find in Titus.

I liked Buffy, but Titus was proably the funnies show I have ever seen.

• Game of Thrones - If you like Lord of the Ring type stuff. You will love this.
• The 100 - post apocalyptic Earth that has healed with new dangers
• The Last Ship - If you like Virus type stuff with a strong mix of military Navy in it.
• Heroes - Superpowers all the way
• Marvel Netflix shows - MCU all the way
• Terranova - If you like futuristic movies mixed with dinosaurs

These are all good tv shows.

Bojack Horseman,Welcome to the NHK or breaking bad. Shows that show the regression of a characters mental state or with a melancholy/depressing tone with a glimpse of hope. Also if you could recommend a therapist....

BB is also a 1rst tier tv show but was too cartoonish for my taste. Fargo doesh't belong to the conversation. If i were to add more tv shows to that list, i'd go with Deadwood, Boardwalk empire

@lestrange: I was thinking in relation to Mad Men as the rest ive only heard of or have it on my watchlist.

As far as writing goes, i found mad men superior to BB. Also, its cast is more likeable to me. BB had way too many coincidences throughout its run. Having said that, it's a gem of a show but i wouldh't put it on my top 5 list.

Maybe Preacher or Person of Interest

Two shows that I think apply yet haven't yet watched, would be The Shield and The Americans. The former is regarded as one of the best cop shows of all time, similar to The Wire, albeit with a Breaking Bad spirit to it. The latter is a Government espionage show similar to Homeland but set during the Cold War I think.

I honestly forgot the game. I was just listing shows lol. I have heard some good thing about The Americans. If it's like Homeland, maybe I'll check that out.
