@mrdecepticonleader: It's a rip off from a scene from the movie Grave Encounters.
The movie is a better Blair Witch Movie type of Horror Film
Ghost stuff doesn't scare me or really interest me but that was a decent trailer.

It's a good film, I watched it a few months ago.
I stumbled across this thing while searching images for a planet-sized monster. Makes Galactus look like a bloody teddy bear.
Ah this is from the horror manga master Junji Ito he does some amazing horror stuff look up some of his work its really creepy and disturbing.
@mrdecepticonleader: You might want to check the movie out. As I said it has a Blair Witch project feel done better. The only down side to the movie is, the first half is suspense and got you horror and the second is more Demon attacking. Despite that it is a scary vibe movie to watch.

I live in the place the original version of that movie was filmed, we even have a festival for it (The Wickerman Festival) so every time I see the Cage version it hurts my head.

Has anybody read any good coming-of-age-Horror novels? Stuff like IT, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon and the Summer of Night?

Boys Life and Mystery Walk, both by Robert McCammon
I have seen the film IT,it was very long, and just seemed to drag on in parts and the ending was daft.

I am very proud to say that i own every single episode of the Twilight Zone, Night Gallery, every Hammer House OF Horror film made (including the relaunch of Hammer studios), nearly all the Tigon and Amicus films and have seen an enormous number of 50's B movies in the cinema by chasing screenings up all over the state when i was a teen. So, yes, i am absolutely with you in your love for these. Very nice to meet you :)
@bumpyboo: They've actually just rereleased a huge bunch of Hammer films on DVD remastered with new extras and such, including the Reptile. They're well worth a look again :)
Damn right! And the movie version with John Lithgow was pretty badass too ^_^
No way, I will have to look into that, I had no idea. Thanks! :D

@bumpyboo: Ha I see how many pages are we talking?
Over a thousand, the version I have is printed on that ultra thin Bible paper hehe!! :) But it flies by, it does not feel as long as it is. I did a book report on it in school , it really is worth trying :)

Book is about a guy who finds his neighbor? dead and next to him--manuscripts for a story about people interviewing-after the fact- a family that moved into a house that has a labrynth hidden in it. They end up getting lost in the labrynth.
It swallows people whole at some point. Some guy turns crazy in it and starts hunting them? Etc. While this happens, the guy reading these manuscripts gradually grows crazy and he receives letters from a mom who is in a mental institution.
The book is actually formatted like a labrynth with the text sometimes reflecting the story/text weaving all over the place.
It really is the most creative, innovate book I have ever heard of. Its one of a kind; the author's writing is one of a kind. Scary and suspenseful as fuck though...
@jezer: Wow that is pretty creative. I will certainly have to give it a read. Thanks

Frankenstein, Dracula and the Creature from the Black Lagoon are the best horror films.
So you like the classics the best.
@mrdecepticonleader: I do like the classics the best. :)

One of the creepiest MF's you will ever see...
That was kinda creepy 0_0
I finally watched They Live. I've been putting off watching it due to its age, and I've been watching too many older stuff lately. It's definitely worth watching.
With these apocalypse themed movie, I wish it could have an updated version during the late 90s, like what George Romero did with Night of the Living Dead. But 90s was a difficult time for Horror.

Yeah They Live is fantastic I really enjoy the social and political commentary/satire Carpenter managed to weave into the film. And its aged pretty well too.
I think has always had a hard time weather it be because there are no really good horror films,or certainly any that become more mainstream or the fact they cause controversy and you have moral crusaders trying to have them banned/censored.
