Wild Card Weekend Predictions

Predicted winners in bold.

Bills at Texans

Titans at Patriots

Vikings at Saints

Seahawks at Eagles

Maybe it's too easy to pick all the home teams but that's how I see it shaking out. Bills put up a good fight but can't keep up offensively. Titans give the Pats quite a scare before Brady pulls off some 4th quarter magic. Cousins wilts under the pressure and the Vikings get blown out. The injury decimated Seahawks narrowly lose to the injury decimated Eagles.

Most of the teams I wanted to win did. I was disappointed in the Saints but I will take Minnesota winning just because I don't think the Vikings have ever won a Super Bowl so they would be a nice surprise to get their if they did. For some reason that Seahawks vs Eagles game felt boring as hell. It did not help Carson Wentz got hurt either. I figured it was over for the Eagles once "Walk It To Em" went out. Glad the Titans beat the Patriots, I am so sick of hearing about the damn Patriots. Texans vs Chiefs is gonna be one hell of a match.

Very surprised the Vikings won. Should have been offensive pass interference but then again, Saints didn't do enough to win anyway with Brees turning it over twice.

Glad to see the Pats out, if only so someone else can represent the AFC. I just have a feeling about the Chiefs. I don't think Lamar Jackson is quite ready yet, although they should wax the Titans.

Regardless of what they do, I have nothing but love and respect for Brady and Brees.

I grew up watching these dudes, and it's gonna be sad when they decide to call it quits. The ring and the stat Kings must descend for their throne eventually, but they damn sure looked good up there, and sure as hell wore the crown like Kings should.

Lamar Jackson played like crap, but the rest of the team didn't help [six dropped passes, the defense couldn't stop Derrick Henry to save their life].

However, I won't take anything away from Tennessee as they've defied the odds back to back. Cheers to them.

Titans have been really surprising. They are the hottest team right now and have been playing well for weeks. They've already beaten the Chiefs this year but then again so did the Texans and we all saw how that turned out. I have no idea who's going to take that game.

Niners and Packers should be a good one. We'll see if Aaron Rodgers still has that magic. I have a feeling this game is going to be closer than it was in the regular season but the Niners just seem better.

Congrats to the Chiefs. They put away the Titans with that Incredible Offense.

What a Disaster this 49ers - Packers game is becoming. 34 - 7 in the 3rd Quarter ?

I'm pulling for the Chiefs. I like the idea of a long suffering fanbase finally getting a title. Niners already have 5, plus Andy Reid has been very good for a long time. Kinda reminds me of how it took Bill Cowher so long to finally win one.

The thing is Jimmy G can throw, but he doesn’t have to. Honestly he’s he showed in NO he can put up big yards. Y’all it’s Shannhan as the coach he could be doing this every game. But, it’s an unnecessary risk with a defense this good and a running game that amazing.

Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs !

Andy Reid finally wins his first Super Bowl Championship

Patrick Mahomes made some Great Plays in the Second Half to keep the Chiefs alive in this one.

San Francisco did play a Great Game too... just started to lose steam in the Second Half.

Another Thing, Most of the Super Bowl Commercials Sucked This Year. I did like the Groundhog Day one with Bill Murray though.

I'm happy for Big Red. He deserves is after all this time.

Mahomes is putting together quite a resume. League MVP, Superbowl MVP and Superbowl champ all at the age of 24. He's about to get paid a ridiculous amount of money when his extension comes up.

Surprised to hear it, but happy seeing Brady go to Tampa Bay; now, just bring back the Tony Dungy playbook and reshape Tampa Bay, and it's the 1998-1999 season all over again, moving forward, and taking back some mistakes; but, at the same time, the economy is shutdown, so, maybe just a fantasy for the real good changes that are coming that is the Book of Revelation; maybe, God will just give me a what if in Heaven.

But, it's also kind of sad, too, as New England did so much for his career and he for them; but, this will be some gold standard mentoring for the Tampa Bay team right on the field.

I got this weird feeling that something may go wrong with the Bucs this year. Tampa Bay always has the worst of luck with things. I know we got Tom Brady but no one is anticipating a possible disaster. Well, I think it could happen. Here is hoping for the best though.

While the Patriots usually have a decent offensive line it was pretty shaky most of last year due to injury. The Buccaneers actually had a better offensive line last year than the Patriots according to PFF.

@fcvs111: I think they have a real shot at 10-6 or 11-5 and a playoff birth, but we'll see how well it all comes together. There's a lot of unknowns that could come into play and they don't have a particularly easy schedule.

Anyone interested in setting up a fantasy football league this year?

Roman Gabriel was a heck of a Quarterback. He put up some great numbers for the Era he played in as a QB. Nobody ever talks about him though.
